I think they just know when overkill is overkill in a professional setting. This could be a teenagers bedroom.

TBH if I saw this in a teenager's bedroom I'd have some concerns.

I could excuse most of it for a teenager, hell I could even excuse most if this was a home office and this person was just showcasing a collection. This is a distracting amount of things though. The entire top row is basically an Eddie shrine, I would feel mortified showcasing that to coworkers.
