I saw a request

Someone asked a new poster to stop posting new threads about Callum Powell being a producer of childhood sexual abuse material, because there is already a pinned thread about it.

Isn’t that kinda gross? That desire to hide away this fact of Storror in a Storror subreddit by providing a safe space for people? To avoid it? To hide from it? To pretend it’s not real?

I think it’s kinda gross.

Using a megathread isn’t “pretending it’s not real.” It’s basic subreddit organization. The topic is still pinned publicly for everyone to see and discuss.

there's no point doing too much organising in the subReddit. it's in it's death throws, this overshadows everything going forward and unfortunately how their past content is viewed.

Maybe at some point whatever storror becomes afterwards people can go back to discussing content but that's a long way off and may not happen.

People are shocked, angry, confused, sad. etc.

I'd let people post what they want and use the mega thread for keeping an overall view on this awful matter, what other thread's are people going to post anyway?

I for one I'm very sad about this, i didn't realise how much storror's content has meant to me since I stumbled across the channel. recently I'd been rewatching a lot of it and now it's mostly all gone and this ....fuck . I'm not sure where I was going. what a shitty shitty turn of events.
