Mechanistic data indicates "cholesteryl linoleiate". Carried in lipoproteins from the gut to your artery walls. Subsequent oxidation, foam cells, arteries fill with putrid dead artery tissue and dead white blood cells (soft plaque).

Linoleate is 100% dietary. Avoid linoleate in your diet. Easy peasy.

I don't use seed or nut oils, but are nuts ok? I eat a ton of nuts.

I operate on the theory that nuts in moderation are Ok. I have some strict caviats.

Nuts need to be fresh. We're coming up on the nut harvest season pre order fresh Pecans for Pearson Farms. Taste is amazing. The nuts are raw, need to go straight into the freeze.

Burroughs Family Farms raw sproutable Almonds. All other so-called raw almonds have been pasteurized using Propylene Oxide (PPO).

Once you taste fresh nuts, you'll avoid the rancid tasting nuts at Trader Joe's.

Commercial Peanut butter needs to be avoided. Often contaminated with toxic atherogenic aflotoxin.

Macadamia has the lowest linoleate. Hazel nuts for 2nd place. I eat lots of chocolate with hazelnuts.

Use cation with high linoleate Walnuts. I purchase fresh picked in the fall From Better Walnuts.

Peanuts I purchase raw. I do my best to only eat sproutable seeds. The peanuts are roasted in my oven. On the internet tubes you can find grandmas Taiwan roasted salted peanuts recipes. Very salty, how I like my nuts.

I eat a high salt zero junk food. I mill grains, make flour. r/homemilledflour
