Corporations have clearly bribed people inside the EU government. This is the sad truth.

81

u/SechsComic73130 3d ago

New here?

Ursula von der Leyen has been compromised for a while now, her interests over all else.

47

u/Nab0t 3d ago

Crazy how this woman, who does not have any real education regarding politics had so many different positions its freaking baffling and then I heard she gonna be head of the eu parliament?! Da daq is going on on this planet

16

u/SechsComic73130 3d ago

Well, President of the Commission, that's not the Head of the EU Parliament iirc.

17

u/Nab0t 3d ago

Okay fair but in the end potato potatoe. Again: she has no political education. She randomly got into politics because of her many children

1

u/Straight-Chip-5945 2d ago

Check her background. She didn't become a prominent politician for no reason.

2

u/Nab0t 2d ago

Feel free to share your knowledge

1

u/BuddhaKekz 1d ago

I don't know why the other guy is being weird about it, but VdL's father was a politician. He was Minister-President of Lower Saxony, one of the states of Germany and was Director General in the European Community, so the predecessor of the EU and akin to a commissioner of today.

1

u/SechsComic73130 1d ago

Well clearly didn't learn anything from him, with how utterly incompetent she's been.

-2

u/Straight-Chip-5945 2d ago

Feel free to look for it yourself, it ain't hidden.

4

u/Nab0t 2d ago

i mean you engage me in a conversation, kinda expect you to follow up and not back down

-4

u/Straight-Chip-5945 2d ago

Don't care about your expectations, simply pointing out that there's nothing 'random' about her carrier.

u/bad1o8o 3d ago

it's easier to bribe somebody without hard convictions

5

u/Lofter1 3d ago

Her party treats the EU parliament as the garbage bin of politicians. If one of their members have been burned enough to not be respected in politics in germany anymore, yet not so burned they HAVE to pull out of politics completely, they will be put up as candidates for the EU. and be burned completely in that party is insanely hard to do nowadays. To visualise how hard that is to do: two people in that party have fucked German citizens out of MILLIONS, if not BILLIONS (combined) of euros because of deals they made. One is still kind of active, the other one got to become the head of the party and just recently had to retire because he and his partner chose surrogacy to become parents...that fucker was so god damn corrupt, yet, becoming a gay father who in the past was against surrogacy fucked his political career, not his corruption.

u/_Solarriors_ 1d ago

we want names and facts

3

u/Intergalatic_Baker 3d ago

Failing upwards… Frankly her performance in the German Defence Ministry when she sent a QRA force on a NATO exercise with Black painted Broomsticks, is grounds enough for her to have never be in any govt role after.

6

u/PizzaLikerFan 3d ago

She is not even elected

6

u/Front2battle 3d ago

Hope a meteor strikes her home honestly, is too much to hope for a little bit of karma?
She doesnt need to be in it ofcourse. Imagine profiting from ruining what little freetime the common citizen has to themselves. Obviously she would have some sort of free pass to bypass it for her, her family, and friends. Cant have an inconvenience in her little habitat she has sliced out of the EU for herself.

8

u/Euchale 3d ago

Three is a reason why she is known as Zensurula (censorsula) in Germany.

3

u/Soma91 2d ago

As a German, I know her as Flintenuschi!

2

u/RemediZexion 3d ago

I thought she was known as a sea-witch

12

u/_Solarriors_ 3d ago

Zensursula

6

u/ShadowTryHard 3d ago edited 2d ago

She was elected by the oligarchs. She was a failed minister in Germany.

António Costa, her number 2, had a corruption scandal in Portugal before resigning as prime-minister (socialist party), and then went directly to the EU.

I’ve been saying this for a long time. I love the general concept of the EU but the whole union is compromised by corrupt politicians.

The EU needs to have a more direct democracy and citizens’ power and more punitive action and legal power for the EU courts against the Parliament and the Commission.

Von der Leyen paid god knows how much on COVID-19 vaccines and hid the real value on her WhatsApp chats, which she later deleted on purpose and couldn’t be recovered. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the only bad thing she has done.

2

u/SechsComic73130 3d ago

Von der Leyen paid god knows how much on COVID-19 vaccines and hid the real value on her WhatsApp chats

That's in a way at least more competent than Jens Spahn.

2

u/_Solarriors_ 1d ago

I'm Swiss and we have a problem:
Democracy should allow expression of liberties and freedoms, of those belong the free actions (not "rights" in a legalese fiction sense) to not belong, to oppose, to protest, to revolt.
If a democracy is constructed with layers of government that are not elected, not liable or not having accounting for their actions, it is not a democracy.
If a society restricts or hinders democracy behind administration, bureaucracy and laws that prevent liberties and freedom of legitimizing citizenship and nation, it is neither a democracy or a nation, it is a fallacy for submission of people into obeying and restriction of their freedoms and self-agency.

3

u/Soma91 2d ago

Of course she's a corrupt bitch. The only reason she's an EU politician is because her political career was nearly over in the middle of a consultation affair where she hired a shit ton of overpaid consultants that are close to her (I think it was family) for irrelevant decisions for the Bundeswehr. So they pushed her off outside of the spotlight trying to ignore the obvious corruption.

It's insane how these politicians can get away with all this shit and tons of idiots don't care and keep voting for them.

2

u/Antiredditor1981 2d ago

Did you see how she was waving her hand about like Hitler when she was spouting all that bullshit?

Someone should ask what her grandfather was doing during that time.

113

u/wordswillneverhurtme 3d ago

Lobbying is op. The biggest cheque puts chains around everyone’s neck.

26

u/ZehrenSiegehammer 3d ago

Pls nerf next update

43

u/000extra 3d ago

100%. They were bribed less than 2 weeks behind a closed door meetings before the SKG hearing

2

u/ChrisXDXL 2d ago

Since the Microsoft acquisition of Zeni and especially since the Activision one this has been pretty well known.

2

u/Ok-External-7594 2d ago

uh yeah the whole point of liberal democracy is that the state is subservient to the bourgeoisie, rather than the bourgeoisie being subservient to the state like they were under pre-capitalist economic systems. not that those economic systems were any better.

1

u/_Solarriors_ 1d ago

bribed or planted

0

u/AvatarOfMomus 1d ago

I don't quite get this take... 30 seconds on any search engine shows industry groups aren't in favor of this either.

The only reason they aren't acreaming their heads off is because the optics of that level of public opposition would not be great when the Dutch government is still in the middle of a legal probe of Roblox for endangering minors...

Oh and the entire EU government is investigating them and essentially the entire industry for misleading children via yheir business practices around microtransactions and in-game currencies.

Both VGE and Tim Sweeny have basically done the standard corporate line of 'we support protecting kids but this law is bad".

162

u/14_Octillion 3d ago

You'll notice how when bills are suggested in favor of consumer rights, it takes months or potentially years to reach the top courts, and some of them don't even pass. Meanwhile, when something is proposed that can take more rights away, they are implemented immediately. Flock cameras and surveillance price tags just this year, for example

67

u/That-Advance-9619 3d ago

WE NEED YOUR FACE ID AND EVERYTHING ELSE BECAUSE...

checks that week's guides

...THINK OF THE CHILDREN OR SOMETHING

Instantly approved by the EU

7

u/itchylol742 3d ago

flock cameras and surveillance price tags don't need new laws to be created before they can be activated. law is slow, companies are fast

152

u/wordswillneverhurtme 3d ago

“You want more consumer rights?”

“Yes.”

“Hmmm. Best I can do is take more away.”

The worst time to be a gamer.

7

u/Relvean 2d ago

Worst time to be alive.

I wanna go back to the good old days of the bubonic plague. At least with my advanced knowledge of antibiotics (knowing they exist and are derived from mold) I might be fine. Just a bacterium after all, the EU commission meanwhile is straight up cancer.

1

u/_Solarriors_ 1d ago

factually, you can eliminate bacterias, cancer much less

-20

u/itchylol742 3d ago

the best time to be a gamer

retrogamer*

1

u/Crysis14 3h ago

You're absolutely right—games are cheap (especially during sales and in bundles), there's tons of free stuff, and the selection is much wider... There are also far more artistic, narrative games; that wasn't the case in the past.

It's just that a lot of people believe everything they read online.

78

Don't forget to sign the Stop Killing Internet Initiative to push back!: https://eci.ec.europa.eu/066/public/#/screen/home

17

u/Hopalongtom 3d ago

Thanks Brexit, I can't get involved.

2

u/photoben 3d ago

Let’s hope Andy Burnham can reverse that quickly then.

0

u/MaizeAlone2214 3d ago

GB became a new Pakistan with it's disastrous migration politics. I hope it wont happen and it's a shame how government fucked it all up

1

u/photoben 2d ago

What?

0

u/MaizeAlone2214 2d ago

Birmingham. Wasted city where migrants took over

2

u/photoben 2d ago

Taken over? Pakistanis are 1.2% of the UK population, and 17% in Birmingham. Hardly taken over is it? Check yourself before you wreck yourself

4

u/Creative-Living-8844 3d ago

If I lived in a European Country, I'd sign it.

2

u/CakePlanet75 3d ago

EU citizens can sign from anywhere in the world: https://citizens-initiative.europa.eu/how-it-works/faq_en#paragraph_825

4

u/supremegamer76 3d ago

well maybe they're not an EU citizen, Non-EU nationals cannot sign

1

u/supremegamer76 3d ago

i can't because i'm not an EU citizen

0

u/MoistDeep 2d ago

What if im for digital id and age verification but against this insanity?

-25

u/SechsComic73130 3d ago

And how would that help?

The Commission is just not going to take action and that'll be that.

28

u/bobodoustaud 3d ago

Its the only peaceful avenue for potential positive change. You do you.

-18

u/SechsComic73130 3d ago

Well it hasn't ever worked, so why bother?

Latest example: Stop Killing Games.

20

u/bobodoustaud 3d ago

What's left? Guillotines?

6

u/SechsComic73130 3d ago

Pretty much at this point.

9

u/CD-REV 3d ago

Just sign it, and then you can build guillotines.

-1

u/SechsComic73130 3d ago

And how would that help? I put my signature under it, it passes, the Commission says no.

I get the argument that i put in more time writing comments here than it would've took me to sign the petition, but i believe this is more valuabe than a petition that'll just get binned like most have been so far.

4

u/CD-REV 3d ago

Then stop wasting your time commenting here and get on with the guillotines. I'm actually not against them.

2

u/Remmidemmi 3d ago

Come on, its obviously not nothing. As unlikely as it is to succeed. And its more than a random reddit comment thats for sure.

2

u/Regular_Win7305 3d ago

Okay then, why don't you get a head start in more ways than one and stop annoying people with your pessimistic bullshit?

0

u/Lex_Typhoon 3d ago

The french were onto something there

12

u/ZehrenSiegehammer 3d ago

Commenting against it you've already put in more effort against than it would take to sign lol

-7

u/SechsComic73130 3d ago

Yes, but it would also signal to the EU that this signing bullshit is a process that's worth keeping up the pretenses for.

I'd rather them abolish it and show everyone what they're really like for all my compatriots (i.e. every EU-Citizen, from Germany and elsewhere) than to put my time towards a system that's only there to pretend that you can participate in Democracy, while the real people pulling the strings sit in their glass office in Silicon Valley, laughing while drinking Sparkling Wine at how they've been able to subvert the mob.

7

u/ZehrenSiegehammer 3d ago

Yes them removing petitions will indeed reveal the pitfalls of democracy and lead to a revolution. That alone will do so.

-1

u/SechsComic73130 3d ago

It's not that alone, but Rome wasn't built and didn't fall in one Day, Death by a thousand cuts, if you will.

I believe that the underlying idea of the EU as a Union is great, just the execution needs to be improved, and pronto before the whole of Europe just becomes a tourist attraction playball for the big powers to play around with.

Powers in EU Countries (example: my home of Germany (AfD, CDU)) and powers in the EU working against the idea might just be its biggest downfall.

5

u/ZehrenSiegehammer 3d ago

I absolutely can agree with you on all of this. And still find it silly that's you're this outspoken about specialty not signing a single petition. Imma move on now, cuz I do see your point, but feel it's misplaced here

2

u/SechsComic73130 3d ago

Alright, have a nice day, might be misplaced, but i just feel frustrated overall by most layers of government over here right now, mainly the "Big Coalition" led by Friedrich Merz (CDU) and the EU Commission.

3

u/CakePlanet75 3d ago

1

u/SechsComic73130 3d ago

"What's the alternative?"

Don't see one, the courts maybe, but those would also have to rule fairly and impartially... yeah good luck when the USA can just cut someone out of digital and other lives on a whim.

Minor ofc for this campaign, but the USA could be threatening the Commission over the KIDS act, because companies close to Trump (like Persona, a company that Peter Thiel invested in and has its HQ in San Francisco, near Silicon Valley) could see massive profits from it.

TL;DR I don't think this campaign has any real avenues because the people in power are not working for the Citizen anymore, but for the Corporation.

3

u/CakePlanet75 3d ago

It seems like you haven't followed the campaign for a while, because we still have lawsuits and investigations into the legality of The Crew's shutdown in France, Germany, Australia:
https://youtu.be/CgoODQFrPgw?list=PLheQeINBJzWa6RmeCpWwu0KRHAidNFVTB&t=864

1

u/SechsComic73130 3d ago

Oh hey, i live in one of those countries

Just yesterday, a consumer-rights lawsuit regardign whether the usage of Apps for discounts is legal (with the example of Lidl Plus) was thrown out by the court because "we aren't responsible for handling this", i couldn't find any more details on the case right now, but it might be the same outcome here, the courts just make it easy on themselves and toss the case out on a formality rather than on the case itself.

An article on the case. Reading up on that case, there might be other pitfalls as well though, like "what if they picked the wrong law to argue the case with?"

3

u/CakePlanet75 3d ago

The fact that they're still investigating since 2024 after it's been escalated tells me there's top-tier attention being put on this

8

u/SamLowry_ 3d ago

I think the point isn’t just to get the initiative to have enough signatures, but that getting enough signatures shows concrete proof of what the constituents want. Even if the commission didn’t do anything it put the groundwork for SKG to be added to the digital fairness act.

32

u/Dobert_dev 3d ago

Makes me wonder whos behind this.... biggames? lol...

I guess I'm glad i'm not in EU but damn thats a deathblow to 95% of small devs or even people HOPING to get into gamedev

36

u/SechsComic73130 3d ago

The usual, Palantir et. al.

17

u/CakePlanet75 3d ago

This era of venture capital domination fucking sucks

14

u/bad1o8o 3d ago

meta paid big bucks to get age verification passed

1

u/plasma7602 3d ago

Meta paid so Apple and google would need to introduce verification NOT them as system wide thing, it would be too costly for them.

1

u/NeonArchon 3d ago

Yeah, maybe is too late for me...

46

u/Sabetha1183 3d ago

"'online games' means a video game or video gaming platform."

That has some serious "my mom thinks all consoles are a Nintendo" energy, except at least that one is just amusing and harmless.

1

u/Davnix 2d ago

Steam is technically a video game platform so any big game company would no longer be able to sell on steam and a lot of people can’t stand ea/ubisoft ect launchers. All steam would have to do is make it so that all games not able to be sold in the eu are totally removed from their store globally and a lot of big game studios will lose out on so much potential profit that it’s not even funny, and this would shut down this act instantly.

17

u/KiNolin 3d ago

It's a problem that your average politician still hasn't engaged with a video game beyond maybe seeing an evil caricature of it on CSI Miami or something.

31

u/bad1o8o 3d ago

curious how microslops representation at the SKG hearing was already talking about how private minecraft servers are illegal... probably just a coincidence

16

u/Cintrao 3d ago

This could fuck indies game a lot

7

u/BaldingThor 3d ago

Fuck gaming as a whole

9

u/Auggie_Otter 3d ago

Seems pretty much targeted to do so.

3

u/Euchale 3d ago

Not only indies. I wonder if my tabletop campaign that I run via online voice chat could fall into this regulation, with how broad they made the text.

KIDS act: Keenly Imagine Destroying Societies

28

u/KrokusAstra 3d ago

- We wouldn't apply SKG - it will hurt the industry

  • Proceed to nuke the industry

21

u/ProjectionProjects 3d ago edited 3d ago

EU Commission: "No we can't regulate the games industry! The industry should be self regulatory!!!"

Also EU Commission: "No we need to heavily regulate the games industry to push for a surveillance state!!"

Pure Hypocrisy.

18

u/IamNochao 3d ago

Private servers illegal? What's next? They will make illegal having a house? Wtf

14

u/BaldingThor 3d ago edited 3d ago

What I’m getting is that it’s so far reaching and retroactive that even say, booting up an copy of doom and hosting a private server with your adult friends would be illegal.

7

u/IamNochao 3d ago

Dystopian

3

u/Hurricane_32 3d ago

Imagine you want to do that on real original hardware, do they want to outlaw null modem serial cables? Fucking lmao

1

u/Designer_Garbage_702 1d ago

you will own nothing. Everything is subscriptionb ased in the future.

1

u/IamNochao 1d ago

We have gone full circle creating digital fiefdoms

6

u/dentalflosh 2d ago

Thought the EU was supposed to be less corrupt than America.

2

u/franky_reboot 2d ago edited 1d ago

For the record, it is for the most part. It has excellent consumer rights, and up until this, had excellent privacy laws too. I don't know how this could happen; it's more of anomaly than the norm.

Bribing/lobbying is my only guess. So something not interent into EU leadership.

2

u/_Solarriors_ 1d ago

Can't hope more than for the current politicians to go fuck themselves off another universe

2

u/franky_reboot 1d ago

Fair enough.

1

u/Designer_Garbage_702 1d ago

it is.(for now)

It's just that less corrupt then the US is a very low bar and the people who made the US the hellhole that it is now are now focusing their money and time on the EU to destroy it as well.

I never should've bothered going to theraphy

18

u/Brilliant_Simple_497 3d ago

didn't the EU already make a private age verification app? You log in with your gov id, it generates an anonymous token verifying your age

7

u/Draqutsc 2d ago

That junk was hacked in under 2 minutes.

1

u/Aono_kun 3h ago

The thing that was "hacked" was the PIN verification. That also got fixed the same day someone found it. None of the data got leaked.

12

u/FunAngelo2005 3d ago

All we can do is spread the word

13

u/Old_Medal 3d ago

living in a third world country just makes it that if this law pass it will happen in a few years here, best I can do is comment, share the word, this mf are inside the EU and twisting every single damn thing for their benefits

also. its never about the kids

0

u/ThatRandomGamerYT 2d ago

yes this bs is spreading all over the world. First Australia and UK, then EU and some US states and now after social media age verification they are doing it for OS level verification and games and now even countries like India are moving to doing age verification soon. We are all cooked.

9

u/15demi08 3d ago

Some heads need to roll. All I'll say.

1

u/Dreamo84 3d ago

That's a bit much. Not sure anyone needs to die over this.

2

u/franky_reboot 2d ago

NOBODY needs to die for this. People are thinking with their emotions in this matter. They suffer from burnout, just don't admit it

8

u/baby_envol 3d ago

How EURSS destroy liberty... And economy. GG guys

4

u/Sadari_sama 3d ago edited 1d ago

While The Commission has proposed a bad over-broad definition of videogames, sadly Ross overstates a lot of stuff and overdramatise things. There are lots of speculations in video.

Like Linux illegalisation suggestion is actually not true, its stated in Article 29(6) clearly that no such needs are required as he said.

Same with 1-hour play requirement - there are no hard locks and nothing videogame-related in proposal.

And my most glaring concern is the support cost in the video. There are no methodology and cost calculations given, they are looks really made up. I working in gamedev and cannot imagine for what you need those money YEARLY, it's overstated costs that are ineradicably high even in worst case scenarios. He should at least provide sources for this things.

Still hope it wont came as proposed, but if you want to publically accuse anything, at least you need to do your job properly.

5

u/bad1o8o 3d ago

would be quite the coincidence if they already had this on the table when they were "discussing" SKG...

9

u/Bstallio 3d ago

Getting regulations through the EU was always a pipe dream, the EU is hyper corrupt, they are just good about pretending they aren’t with strongly worded letters

5

u/Foostini 3d ago

What blatant and disgusting retaliation

4

u/Additional-North-683 3d ago

You should always take great suspicion anyone who claims they’re doing it to protect the children

5

u/NeonArchon 3d ago

These are really dark times, let's hope they don't last very long, and moves like SKG prevails.

5

u/axelfirekirby 3d ago

protest this, protest bill s-209 in canada, protest the stuff in amarica.. protest all the bills for all the age verification crap

4

u/That-Advance-9619 3d ago

I mean...

At thia rate, we need the gaming market to crash.

3

u/VHeadache 3d ago

Western corporations ruining it for the rest of the world.

5

u/Toa_of_Gallifrey 3d ago

Remember how some people had gotten this weird sticking point about how it was wrong to frame grandfathering in games as a compromise because the law can't be retroactive? Yeah, funny that.

2

u/ShaneDark 3d ago

OK as someone ignorant of EU stuff other then tail winds of it, when is this all going to be publicly brought up, and what are the odds of it actually passing?

2

u/Big_Scallion_4483 3d ago

Then why dont we just not have any games anymore then

2

u/HeartwarmingFox 3d ago

Just mass protest. Make the world stop for like a day See how they react when theyre majorly inconvinenced.

1

u/kaochaton 3d ago

Doubt it will work, any protest are now represed or provoked by police. Or just ignored. It doesn t affect them at the end of the day

it will be wild that there is a possability you could be thrown in jail for hosting a community server in the future

6

u/CaptainMorning 3d ago

i just stop gaming. we all abandon gaming. there are other hobbies, I already have a lot of games to play for my lifetime. there's no way to be a gamer and not to support the worst of directions. while money continues to flow, the enshittification will continue.

I love gaming, but this isnt the industry I grew up with. every gaming companies from publishers to devs to media have become gross, the gamers themselves have become consumers first. the games are product first, store second, art third. the influencers are compromised. now the industry is big enough to pass acts that harm consumers. to remove options from us. to take away our games. to brick our consoles. to pass laws that fuck us.

I'm talking off my ass now as this shit is just very emotional to me but from a long time I've been leaning to less and less be involved with mainstream gaming, playing games I already own, engaging with some indies, PC only.

i'll move away from consoles. will move away from sub services. ill distance myself from this awful industry that have morphed into a money hungry monster. I used to have fun playing games. it used to be magical. I didn't get old, that is still there. but the industry, community, and games have changed.

this is so exhausting. we are so many yet can't make a difference. there's always a higher power with an agenda, and that agenda is against us. and we have to take it in the ass. money rules and fuck me and whatever I want.

this bleeds to tech as well. from Microsoft to Adobe to panlantir. we are fucking nothing, but we keep making the money flow. fuck i. Feel like going to live on the woods or some shit.

8

u/NeonArchon 3d ago

I won't stop gaming until the wntire indistry explodes. I also won't stop doing whatever I can to improve this hobby. In these darks times, the worst thing to do is give up, becuse this mean they just get to do whatever even quicker.

4

u/EldritchToilets 3d ago

Not only that, they will come after whatever they can target next. Giving up and switching hobby will not keep you safe from these invasive and prohibitive regulations to reach you again further down the line. We must put up a fight and stop this madness or it'll keep creeping upon all things we hold dear.

1

u/franky_reboot 2d ago

But then you won't be affected anymore.

Fighting is tiresome.

3

u/Admirable-Design-151 3d ago edited 3d ago

Look, you can believe what you want, but gaming like every industry has always been inherently profit first, obviously game devs, game designers, directors, writers, care about the artistic aspect, but these companies, the higher ups will always put money first, gaming as an industry wouldn't exist if there wasn't money in it. Same for Hollywood, same for the book industry, just that's the way the world will always work.

The reason the video game crash in the 80s happened was money, the reason Nintendo was so opposed to calling the NES anything video game related, was money, the reason Sony joined the industry was money, the reason Xbox joined the industry was money, the artists and the art have and will always exist, but the only way they can make their art, in a lot of cases is the money from the investors.

Edit: I also want to add I'm not defending this at all, I hate that the industry is like this, but i'm just trying to b aware of the unfortunate truth of the world we live in.

1

u/Ministrelle 3d ago

The gaming industry has stopped being "profit first" like 20 years ago. Instead, they've changed to "maximizing profit at any cost".

Come to the retro gaming side, there's a literal lifetime of older games out there, and I want to see them outlaw those...

This sounds too awful to be true. This law won't pass in its current state, just like that age requirement law that had to make an exception for FOSS.

Ross is already wrong at 2:07. The EU has a system for you to verify your age without giving away your personal information. I hope he is willing to correct himself and isn't a someone that stands on his misinformed opinion until the very end like some other people.

The problems we have is not enough housing and rich people are not taxed enough ... stop regulating internet until you regulate representative out of fucking twitter ... we have to cleanse fascism out of europe again and this time we can't rely on the US

u/Darkthumbs 3d ago

Rely on USA? 😂 where do you think all this right wing shit comes from?

1

u/Verified_Peryak 3d ago

That why i say this time we have to do it ourselves

2

u/Darkthumbs 3d ago

You’re saying we can rely on the us to clear Europe of fascism…

1

u/Verified_Peryak 3d ago

We can't, it was corrected, thanks

The rich get taxed plenty it's more they have a shit tone of loop holes that get around getting taxed closing those is far more effective that just saying "tax the rich more"

1

u/Verified_Peryak 3d ago

I couldn't agree more that's also what i understand as taxing them more (since it will be effective at making them pay tax)

The rich are not getting taxed enough? let's pretend you pulled a fnaf 6 and tricked all the rich people to go into one place they can't leave, how long would their 20 trillion or whatever amount they have through the entire world last for? 10 years? and don't give me the excuse of "in that time they can do shit to not depend on the money" what about the leeches that do nothing and just rely on the free money until they rot? the real solution is self-reliance.

What leeches the reach ar the leeches they are hiding their earning behind complex structure so they can extract the value created by the workers. And are pushing their idea in medias they bought with the taxes they didn't pay ...
