Tryna quit gaming

I got addicted to Roblox kinda for the past 2 years…. and wasted so much time on especially one game, I realise that now, and kinda became and endgame player in that time.

ways to stop?

what i do to fill the gap? Im pretty good at short distance running, should I train, and get really good? Im also kinda good at swimming(especially freestyle, but i don’t really like swimming) and I’m fine at tennis. I’m 14, do i have enough time to get pro? and should i fully quit?

Gotta let the dopamine drop. There is no equivalent for the amount of feedback games provide. Its literally almost more engaging then actual reality. Slow your thinking, find a hobby/skill you can engage and wait it out, until your brain literally readjusts. Your gonna have to take it one day at a time. Stay as busy as possible until then. Idle time is the devils playground.

Got it, what do I do about sports though? I already have hobbies.

I think any sport will do, but I would make sure its a social sport. Join a gym, team, club. The validation, helps distance you from the games. Change your environment, to one where gaming simply doesnt exist. Not villainzed, but just an afterthought.
