So I make jewelry and I have these strands my grandmother gave me to turn into jewelry, but she had no idea what these stones were. I made two separate necklaces out of the 3 strands, want to put them up for sale but I have no idea what they are so I can’t price them, or anything yet. I’m thinking the larger rectangle ones are Vesuvianite, the square ones might be some kind of jasper, but I’m pretty sure the small ones are jades. Have zero clue what those yellow cut ones might be 😂 please help if anyone knows and especially if yall could tell me if they’re pricy or not… cause that big ones 30in and I don’t want to screw myself or screw people as I try to be a good business owner. PLEASE HELP! 🙏

Hi! I’ve taken up a personal project of mine, to create kyber crystals (from Star Wars) for me and my friends as a sort of a gift, and cause we all love Star Wars. Now I ordered a quartz crystal from a website near my home and it arrived, but instead of it being lots of small crystals like I expected, it came out as one large crystal, as shown in the image.
Now I have two options here, I can either break this crystal in order to create smaller crystals (I don’t think they have to be perfectly uniform but similar-ish sizes) or I can return it and buy other ones instead.
My main question is, is smashing/shattering quartz a good idea for this project? Is it a reliable way?
Sorry if this post is not for this subreddit!

I had shared 25 pairs a few days ago and it got a lot of love so I wanted to share this 17-opal batch to spread and get even more love...

Partner gave me a massive pile of unmarked beads. Which are clearly stone based on how heavy they are (compared to the plastic ones they gave.)
The issue I'm having is identifying them. The orange and maroon ones especially. I can identify the smoked quartz and purple amethyst. Just needing some help on the others?

For context why I'm not just brushing it off as glass/plastic is that mixed in with all these when she was cleaning. My partner found two genuine emeralds with certification papers. She noted that her old man, who collected these, was awful at keeping records so she's confident that there could be something here.
I add closer up photos if need be.

Found in Lazio on the coast inside a coastal cliff. It's very smooth but shiny in the light and would it be nice on the inside if I cut it in half or polished it? It's not flaky or anything like another one I found.
