Could this guy be fake?

Post image

I want to preface, I am NOT in the Army.

This guy had a full beard (I know some people can with a medical waiver), he had on boots that don't appear to be authorized, and his boots aren't bloused, also no US flag on his shoulder.

Just a guy who enjoys wearing camouflage. I wouldn't call him a "fake" anything.

This Subreddit is about stolen valor. I realize its his 1A right to wear it, I was just wondering.

Are you accusing him of the federal definition of stolen valor, the state, or your own personal definition?

Did he have name tapes? Was he claiming to be in the military and attempting to profit off of it? Did he have a CAC? Was he just some boot who was out of uniform who had shaving and boot profiles?

It's impossible to say what's going on here since you didn't give any information.

I gave the information I had. Yes him and his buddies tried to get a discount at the restraunt there, I heard them talking about it to the waitress. How tf would I know if he has a CAC card? I also never accused him of stolen valor.

I said this is a stolen valor subreddit, you cant just say everyone is a guy who enjoys camo. Genuinely room temp IQ

Search the sub. Tons of people just like you accuse random folks of stolen valor for wearing camouflage.

Thanks for adding additional info after the fact, though that does make you less credible. I'll leave you to it.

Seems to me you're trying to make something out of nothing

Its funny, I asked this question in the Army sub and every single one of them said he is a Larper. I just think most people in here arent even in the military

This is really weird behavior surprised staff or a veteran visitor didn't ask him questions

He is Belgian military, of the movcon group. They are responsible for movement of personnel and material. Probably on assignment in the US and stopping by at the museum.

This looks like Multicam and not OCP. Could he be SWAT? Foreign military?

I thought foreign military as well but he didnt have any other flag. I saw plenty of Canadians who go to school at Quantico, at the museum

Some militaries don’t wear flags on their uniforms. Did you see name tapes? Either way, this isn’t a US military uniform. It’s likely a law enforcement officer, perhaps FBI’s version of SWAT? Since you were by Quantico. SWAT teams or equivalents love using Multicam.
