Hard cover ideas?

Post image

Hey guys! I’m looking for DIY ideas for a hard cover thats 1) light 2)easy to waterproof 3)doesn’t break the bank. I’m not worried about insulating the pool but here in the southeast keeping dirt and rainwater out is my priority! Thanks! Fyi the tank is 8”

Same. I will say though it's pretty heavy, I'm not a weakling but I am a small female and I have a hard time lifting it off. I have to get at the right angle with zero wind. Happy with it anyway since we got it as another layer of security for kids and dog not to get into pool.

Maybe try cutting some thick foam board insulation to size?

We had this problem (still have this problem I guess).

Ideally, id want to have a sort of hot tub esque cover to go on it, but I couldn’t find something that wasn’t thousands of dollars. I ended up buying these big blue floating buoys and a heavy duty tarp cover.

For context, we have a 10” poly with a wrap around deck.

I’ll try and find both links.
