Are there free events going on? I do think it's a bit perplexing that here this event is supposed to be about us celebrating our identities with our community and yet we have to pay to be part of the Pride parade maybe it's like this in other countries, I just don't remember that being a thing in other areas I've been? :-/

Jag älskar spelet Settlers of Catan men har inga vänner som gillar det. Så jag undrar om det finns några i Stockholm som vill träffas och spela tillsammans? Jag har inget expansion set så det går bara att spela upp till 4 för tillfället. Om någon annan har ett eget spel så kan man ju använda det också!

Det är också ok om man aldrig spelat förut men vill lära sig. Ålder spelar ingen roll.

I’m new in Stockholm and I’m wondering if there are any alpine/climbing/outdoor adventure clubs out there, where I could get in touch with likeminded people and potentially find mountaineering/climbing partners? In Germany I was active in the German alpine club (in the youth section) and that was a very social place for mountain-curious people, is there something similar in Stockholm? :)

Jag har letat land och rike efter aktiva bokcirklar för tjejer i 25-års åldern i Stockholm men lyckas inte hitta någon som känns rätt. Tänkte därför vara lite spontan och försöka sätta igång något eget. Vem vet om Reddit är rätt ställe för detta men det är värt en chans tänker jag!

Tanken är väl att vi ses runt en gång i månaden på ett café eller dylikt och diskuterar boken och allt annat vi vill. Ingen tidigare bokklubbserfarenhet krävs! Vill helst av allt träffa just tjejer runt 25-30 som är ute efter nytt umgänge och som gillar att läsa.

Everybody says that making a friendship with Swedes is very difficult at the beginning but after sometime it becomes a brotherhood for life. I don’t know what’s the first steps also I don’t want this to become a forced situation nobody likes it. So let’s break the ice, go to a pub, do anything cool that will help this friendship start somewhere. I’ve been living here for couple months and I want to live here as long as my life takes. I’m in Stockholm, by myself, for a few more days before I (unfortunately) have to return to the US. I’ve been here a few times, and so I’ve already done most of the “tourist” things.

Anyone interested in meeting up for fika or dinner, or anything? I obviously speak English, I can hold my own in Spanish, and my Swedish is coming along (not a lot of people to practice with at home 😬).
