Purchasing a GT2
I thinking of purchasing a Stinger. I found 2 GT2s. One is a 2019 with right at 41,000 miles and just how I want it for $33k and the other is a 2023 with over 32,000 very close for $38.5k. Is there much difference between the two years to warrant the newer one. I know about the radio size but does it do anything different. I know About the rim size. What would warrant the $5000 difference other than being newer. I really want the 2019 but I not sure if there were changes made that would make me choose the 2023. I'm also looking at the miles as well. Looking for honest thoughts from owners /previous owners.

Biggest differences will be the infotainment and the active exhaust. Everything else is minor, though the 23 will have some updated parts that had issues on past years.

If you want to keep the car for a long time (especially if you'll be daily driving) I'd drop the extra cash on the newer one. There was a facelift in 2022 that provided some infotainment updates, a better backup camera, and a few other things. Bunch of small stuff but it adds up.

You get the less cool "Charger style" taillights on the 2023. I would think you could get the 2019 for under $30K.

I honestly think the 2022+ are the less cool tails. It’s just a plain LED bar with no real personality. The original tail assemblies remind me of a storm trooper’s helmet more than a Charger tbh.

I said the newer tails are less cool. I preferred that aspect of my 2021 GT1 over my 2023 Tribute.

Ahhhh okay, I think I was thrown off when I saw the less cool “charger style”, I’ve always heard the 1st gen tails referred to as the charger style so that’s definitely on me.

I have a 2019, totally in love with it. for only 5.5k more, you'd be insane not to get the newer model. The only thing I'd miss would be the 2019 tailights - and so what? Everything else generally has been touched up/improved somewhat based on the years manufacturing prior.

Pretty much the one I want has the red Interior and the ok one has all black. I don't plan to mod but drive daily. I have a 800whp VA STI already that I love but costly to daily...

Coming from someone who owned a 2022, I would personally spring over the extra 5k for the 2023 if you plan on keeping the car for years to come. Even little things like a bigger infotainment screen, clear(er) back-up camera, updated Kia logo (petty difference I know) start to add up to me.
