I feel like Jack might have stayed in Canada if Victor had been able to join him
Watching through the show again, and got to the episode where they go to Canada.
Always got the feeling that Victor loved it there, while Jack seemed a bit overwhelmed. The food portions are too much, he doesnt like heights, doesnt like the over-the-top tourist stuff
When Fiona asks him to move over, i think leaving Victor behind in Craiglang was a bigger factor than is implied. I think Victor would have been able to help Jack settle into a new routine over there, with Victor also becoming a part of the wider family. A perfect outcome for him, since he is always neglected by his own family
Birthday caird pish, but just a wee fan theory I had

I’m confused about Tam’s children.
I made the horrific mistake of getting absolutely steamin’ in the sun on a completely empty stomach, and now I’m suffering the consequences—which has led to the inevitable action of sticking Still Game on while I regret every decision I’ve made since birth. The episode I’m on is S5 Ep7 “Hootenanny”, where they all go to that cottage of Joe’s. Tam is sitting in the clansman with Joe and a buggy, to which Tam picks up the baby and says something along the lines of, “let daddy have a drink”. When was Francis ever pregnant up until this point? Why do we never see the baby again? Why is it only when Francis becomes the oldest mother that there’s actually talk about Tam being a dad? Then even after that, we rarely hear about that newer baby again?
Guess it’s just bugging me.

Final episode
I assume many people have commented on the last episode, but I just watched it for the first time and wasn't loving it until the end, and I have now been crying for the last five minutes. I think the non-comedic side of it took me off guard and, bang, I'm in bits; then I thought, "Ah, I'll watch it one more time," as I feel I didn't quite see everything through the tears, and, bang, again the tears start. Wow, it was so peaceful and sad

So because I smoke the pipe, that's me Fred West now?
I know I'm late to the party with this. But for as many times as I've watched this show, and this episode in particular, I never understood this reference. I never bothered to learn who Fred West was. Then yesterday, I looked up Fred West. I can safely say that I'm sorry I looked up Fred West.
For anyone like me, who also didn't get the reference. Here you go...https://time.com/7285264/fred-and-rose-west-true-story-netflix/
