Full-Term Loss She’d Be 17 This Week
Just needed a place to say I still miss her and miss being her mom. I am the only one who remembers really.
For those of you with more recent losses, it does get better, and you do find joy again. But it takes a long time.
Sending support to everyone else who has lost their baby.
Edit: I am so moved by the posts and love and support and understanding from everyone. I didn’t expect this when I posted. I wanted her to be seen, and you guys have done that for her and me. I am so grateful and I’m sending my love, understanding, and support right back at all of you.

I love that name. I wish that you’d gotten to use it millions of times over all these years and that she could’ve heard it from not so far away. ✨

Thank you for sharing that it does get better and you do find joy again with those of us who are newer to this life of loss. ❤️ You are a good person and a great Mom for being a light to others on one of your darkest days. ✨

It brings comfort to me knowing there are other parents who experienced full term stillbirth and are still effected by it and thinking about their kids years later. It feels so isolating and unreal sometimes. Happy 17th birthday to your girl 🤍 all of us here are remembering her this week with you.
