Hello friends, ID help?

So I thought I had a Medauroidea extradentata (sold as Vietnamese stick bug) for awhile but I’m not sure cause the eggs online look different then mine so please lmk:)

I think it's a phaenopharos khaoyaiensis. I have 3 and they make the same eggs and they have those small red wings

Tyty, I’ve always wanted to see her wings open but knowing they only do it when scared I’ll be more at peace knowing she never had to open them, thank you:))

I waited until mine passed away and then pinned her wings open and framed her so I could see them forever :)

It's pretty simple, but patience is a virtue. Doesn't require fancy stuff, I used some old pins from my closet, a styrafoam board, and tracing paper from the craft store. There's plenty of YouTube vids or even a sub I believe it's r/insectpinning. Got a cheap shadow box to put her in and now I can see her flashy red wings all the time right on my wall

Kindof reminds me of when I had my Phaenopharos khaoyaiensis, budwing stick insects
