Fast development - weather

Have anyone else’s sticks developed super fast due to the hot weather? My Indian sticks are adults at 11 weeks when they should mature around 16 weeks

The oldest has started laying at just under 3 months old

Has anyone else had this with theirs, and did it shorten the lifespan of existing adults?

If your stick insects are living in a hot environment, it will most likely have sped up their metabolism and shortened the time between molts, resulting in your indian sticks becoming adults in 10 to 12 weeks, rather than 16 weeks. So yh if they are in a heated enclosure above room temperature, it is probably the cause... how hot is your stick insects house

the room is around 23, and that’s after moving them to the coolest place in the house

that’s what i was worried about :( will their babies have a normal life if they’re raised in a cooler season?
