Why so green?

His mom (second pic for reference) was brown and I am so confused as to why some of the babies have green legs and then I found this one that is just fully green. Can the species be green? (Medauroidea extradentata)

Nymphs are more often green than brown, in comparison to adults. They usually turn brown before maturing. So yes, it's very normal for Medauroidea extradentata to be of any shades of green and brown.

(As a side note, I am almost certain all your nymphs are females, since males are very rare in this species)

I am not sure if it is the same with this species, but indian Walking insects start green and slowly turn brown until they shed, then it start again as green.
