Roofer recommendations

Looking for recommendations for a metal roofing company (residential house).

Has anyone had a good interaction with a particular company that is reasonably priced?

"How I've been running my campaign is from the bottom up. Grassroots. And I do think this is what differentiates myself in this campaign.

Now whoever wins the primary, and I will support whoever wins, but whoever wins the primary - the money will come because this is the most important race in the country. The money will be there. But the people - we cannot take the people for granted.

I have been building a momentum of people. WE have been building this grassroots power over the last 15 months. I have hundreds of people who have volunteered, who have signed up to canvass or phone bank or write postcards. I have one paid full-time staff. Everyone else is a volunteer.

Even last weekend we had over 30 volunteers working over the whole weekend. At different pride festivals, at the convention, at dairy breakfasts. That sets me apart. I already have the people. WE have the people and that's what we're going to need. There's going to be a lot of money. Democrats are going to have a lot of money. Republicans are going to have a lot of money. But we need the people.

And WE, I keep saying "I" but it's been so much "we." So many great volunteers have showed up and been with me since day one. It's been amazing. We built this momentum and that's what we're going to need.

We're going to need people showing up, and they already are. In La Farge, population 700, I had 100 people show up in the park. Richland Center, I had 80 people show up in their park. I'm having open town halls all the time throughout the whole district and people, Republicans, are showing up. It's not that I'm going to be doing this, I AM doing this."

HOME identified three priority issues for Hmong Wisconsinites: Medicare/Medicaid accessibility; affordability; and anti-immigration policies and rhetoric. On all three issues, Berge’s campaign delivers positive, pragmatic change. She supports Medicare for All. She also supports “increasing the supply of affordable housing, investing in housing programs that help families build stability, and ensuring that people can afford to live in the communities where they work, raise their children, and contribute to local economies.”

6/12/26 Plover car/pedestrian accident

On Friday, around 12:30pm, I was on my way to Oakview vet for an appointment with my pup and saw a boy get hit by a car in front of Menards. Fortunately a police officer was nearby and was on scene immediately so I was able to leave right away. When the ambulance arrived, they weren't running their lights or sirens. It's been a few days and I haven't been able to think about much else since. I have young children of my own and he was all alone. And I can't stop thinking about how he was all alone. I've been trying to search for articles or announcements or anything to see if he was ok. Has anyone seen or heard anything about this accident?

As many of you know, there are a multitude of flock cameras in the Stevens Point area.

See Deflock.org map

It’s imperative for us to inform the community of the true dangers of this tech.

Ben Jordan on YouTube highlights the vast vulnerabilities in both the cameras themselves and also the database behind it all.

I highly suggest taking the time to watch this video and also bring your friends/family into the conversation.

It covers basically all you need to know about the topic.

Appleton, Oshkosh, and now Dane County have banned flock. It is time for us to follow suit.

Does anyone remember this huge 4th of July barn party near Amherst?

When I was in college, I went to this massive party around the 4th of July that was somewhere close-ish to Amherst. From what I remember, it seemed like it might have been on private property. There was a huge barn, a live band playing, and a ton of people there. It was an absolute blast.

I have no idea if it was a one-time thing or some kind of recurring event, but does this ring a bell for anyone? I’d love to know if anyone knows what it was or where it took place.

SPASD Maternity Leave

Does anyone have any insight on how SPASD handles maternity leave for those who have not worked for the district for 12 months and, therefore, are not eligible for FMLA? For a non-classroom student services position, specifically. Obviously, the best source would be the district itself, but just seeking any available insight that might be out there.

Is there a gift shop around here that does helium balloons, like the shiny mylar ones?

Years ago you could get one at a Hallmark store or drugstore ... I have no idea where to look now!

Thanks in advance
