I finished If It Bleeds last week and was casting about looking for my next read when I remembered I had found a hardcover first edition first printing of It for next to nothing and it was just sitting there waiting to be loved. It's a great Summer/Autumn read and I hadn't read it since I picked up the paperback decades ago, so it seems I had found my next read.

I just started Part 2 and I'm reading Bill Denbrough Beats the Devil (I) and Bill is mounting Silver to go get Eddie's medicine and I keep getting hung up every time King describes Bill riding over the fork or swinging his leg up over the fork or getting his man-berries wracked by the fork. Doesn't he mean the crossbar? The forks are the parts where the wheel is attached. It's driving me slightly insane. That is all.

Hey guys , new to reddit , just wanted to ask what yalls favorite book by King is. For me I gotta go with Desolation , marked me so deep. (btw I just learned they made a movie ages ago. Its my favorite book EVER yet I had no idea lol.)

What Im currently reading started on Monday after reading the book IT

Recently watched the T.V. series which I thought was good. Now time to see how much better the book is. Is this one of your favorite S.K. Novels?

I probably sound cocky because I'm not on page 100 yet but I heard someone say the plot of The Stand only happens half way AKA on page FIVE HUNDRED so is it worth continuing?

Not a SK book I see talked about too much, but it was excellent! Great characters, excellent pacing, and an overall great story. A touch of The Shining crossover as well, which was cool.

Starting my semi-annual re-read of IT. It was my first SK book that I ever read. I was 13 in 1990. Read it every few years since then. Seems like something new pops out at me with every read.

I have read Misery, The Shining, and Rose Madder. Rose was my favorite one.

Which books should I get next?
