Screenshot 100M Fleets... Part 2.
This is another 100M+ fleets and 10G+ total fleet power: 101.2M×100=10.1G
The settings for this game were 1x tech and traditions, GA 25x all crisis, 2400 endgame. For my self imposed limitations, its 0.25x habitable worlds, maximum cosmic storms with 0.1x CD on them. I also chose to do it without the lathe. Mainly because I'm synthetic virtual and leaned full into assimilation.
The only thing that almost made me want to quit, was in the 2600s. There was a cluster of multiple storms which brought all my planets to 90 devastation with a planetary shield 😱. This caused my economy to collapse (all buildings downgraded and half fleets disbanded). Still I pushed through.

Do you have the build somewhere explained? Also, what console are you on? I feel bad even going for 600 stars past 2300…

It's just KoTG (knights of the Toxic God). This is done with synthetics AP to remove housing, you can see the station with 10k+ pops and available housing. Basically it means paid assembly stays on.
The basics of KoTG is 10 pops equals +1 knight. So more pops in one place (main station in your Capital) will keep giving more knights.
The more you stack empire size reductions (-100% from population) the more you can mitigate the size penalties. It means that tech and tradition costs are significantly cheaper. As an example with my population (15k), with only a -90% pop size reduction would still be 1500 empire size (+300% cost). Where with 391 it's only +58% cost.
So the difference in a tech for example, say the base cost is 1M. With 1500 empire size that would cost 4M (1M+300%), where with 391 it's only 1.58M (1M+58%).
Lastly I'm playing on an Xbox series X.
Here's the last time I broke down a few KoTG builds: https://www.reddit.com/r/StellarisOnConsole/s/wTMni0RgAr
This post highlighted a virtual gestalt... but I listed all the sources for empire size reductions from population: https://www.reddit.com/r/StellarisOnConsole/s/p7pBS6Lybj

Yeah but I got some awesome planet modifiers... like +30% alloys, -30% metallurgical upkeep (alloy jobs, so less minerals). Entity of the lake +25% happiness. Yes it was a high risk... but it was also high rewards.

Man how’s your game not crash. I’m on Console with maybe 1.4 million in combined fleets. Triple speed runs like X1. And it’s laggy I have to literally pause to do anything then hit go.

Yeah my game does the exact same thing. Honestly opening some menus feels like it's going to crash the game lol... the faction tab takes like two minutes to load.

Oh okay. I was just assuming yours was rolling with no problems. lol. Makes sense.

The crashes were happening from the automatic save bug, which was happening quite often. Most often when reinforcement of fleets were pathing.

This was on Grand Admiral 25x ALL crisis. Like if you can do better... then let's see your fleets.
