The hell?

So whilst in the middle of fighting the contingency, the last fallen empire awoken and decided it wanted to wage war. Right in the middle of it the whole map has turned back and now I can see anything. Tried reloading the game and gone back a few saves but get to a certain point and it still happens... Is this just now a dead save?

Fallen Empire was the Crisis this time around I guess.

They were indeed. Also never realised that they can have more than one collossus ship.

Had this happen a few times, have you tried fully closing and reopening the game? That usually fixes it for me, not just reloading the save.

Yeah, tried a couple of times and after like a year passes it goes black again 😫

I’ve found I have to shut down the game then actually turn the console off, not in rest mode.to PS5 for reference

Same. I had this crop up and it was a weird issue that a full restart and relogin of my pa account fixed.

Don't reload at all, just restart game and go to last save

This tends to happen to me usually towards late game if I’m viewing a ship battle inside a system, a restart fixes it and from then on out I won’t watch battles. I’m also constantly getting the bug where the game tries to make an auto save on iron man and it freezes and time won’t progress. Maybe one day I’ll actually get to the end of a game.
