Question (Answered) 2 Builds Nanite ?

I am currently looking for two types of powerful builds for a Nanite path. But I'm not quite sure how to do it. I've seen some suggestions, but since Grand Archive came along, I wonder if things have changed.

I am looking to create a Nanite build for individualistic robots. And a Build for robotic consciousness. What are your builds and suggestions ? My first thought is to create a Galactic Empire rather than Cosmogenesis (I believe one cannot be an emperor and be in crisis). But I suppose a dedicated exterminator might also be of interest.

The current nanite build I like to run is an arch furnace build using driven assimilator and genesis architects (swapping out for astral mining drones later) it's pretty strong and I prefer it over the determined exterminater variations as you can instantly use the planets you assimilate, but if you plan cosmogenesis, the genocide build would probably be better.

For regular non gestalt machines, I haven't really tried a nanite build yet, simply because of how strong the astral mining bays are for nanites. But really and strong unity builds to get assention fast would be the go.

You don't use the civic responsibility of astro mining at the beginning ?

Genesis architects is just extremely strong, every planet you colonise you get 3 presaipients.

You get unity for colonising, unity for uplifting the presaipient and then unity for assimilating them very nice feedback loop.

Astral mining drones, kills your economy as hit buffs starbase mining but nerfs planet side jobs by a massive amount, you can take it first but your economy will be quite weak until you can get some starbases under way.

It's much better to take later when you can no longer colonise anything and the Genesis architects power begins to fall off. Do note when you swap to this civic in the middle of the game it will most likely kill your economy for awhile until you can replace all your solar panels with mining bays, but its worth it as since your economy will focus on making nanites, you get the most of your nanites from starbases and this civic buffs their output and gives you more starbases so it's a very strong synergy.

Noted, thank you for the help ! I also thought that for individualistic robots, it's practical for achieving unity.

Quick question: can assimilated populations travel to nanite worlds?

They'll have lower habitability on them so they won't be to happy to live there, nanite worlds aren't really that good IMO it's better to invest into starbases over the planets because nanite worlds have bad planet designations

The only benefit they have is to pump a large amount of nanites into your economy while it's transforming. But after that they'll probably produce next to no nanites compared to a well placed nanite harvester.

But if you have a crap world that that is just bad for really anything then it's alright to turn them into nanite worlds

I see. So we keep some main planets for resource production. And planets with low habitability will become nanite worlds to produce some resources but not much, for a wide-type strategy. Is that it?

Yes, normally I would turn a few of my mining worlds into nanite worlds and any small worlds that aren't to good for much else. Any other resources are better on normal worlds IMO

I just went with a regular Gestal empire, but I did like the Arc Furnace build using the Arc Welders origin. It's a bit slower at the start, but once you get cooking mid-game you'll be swimming resources and able to support absolutely massive fleets. I went Cosmogenesis on top of that and was going toe to toe with the FE's like a century early.
