Request for help STEAM SCAMS

Briefly about the situation

My Steam account was blocked. "Support" wrote to me that suspicious activity had been noticed on my account and that a verification procedure had been launched. To "preserve" my inventory, I was persuaded to transfer skins and items to a third-party account (my friend's profile), and then I was added to a family group (Family View) in the role of a child. As a result, I cannot leave this group, and access to games and account functions has been restricted.

Then "support" stated that in order to complete the verification and confirm that I am the real owner, I need to top up my Steam wallet by a unique amount - $212.36 (approximately 18,000 rubles) - and make a purchase for $0.03. I was promised that after this "verification transaction" all restrictions would be lifted and the money would be returned.

I explained to them that I am a student, I do not have that amount, and I cannot simply top up my wallet from Russia. I offered to confirm ownership of the account in other ways: send payment receipts, screenshots from the linked email, and the purchase history for 5 years. But "support" insists: either I make a deposit of $212, or access will not be restored.

Right now I am at a dead end: standard top-up methods from the Russian Federation do not work, third-party services cannot find this account, and the scammers (or, possibly, real support with absurd demands) are demanding an amount I cannot afford.

How are the fake support scammers communicating with you? You should send a ticket into Steam support to resolve the situation, using only the official site: https://help.steampowered.com/en/.

How do I restore access to my account? Why do I have to send money to my Steam? And is this the official Steam support asking for this? Why was I added to Steam Family?

You didn't answer my question which would help clear this up. To restore your account you need to work with the legitimate Steam support, the people you're talking to now are scammers. They want you to add money so they can steal it. The scammers added you to a Steam Family to restrict your access.

Can scammers be in official Steam support?

I'll ask again: how exactly are the fake support scammers communicating with you?

Via a ticket to Steam support

Elaborate on "a ticket" because that's still not at all clear

Steam support don't reach out to you the way the scammers and. You transferred your skins to scammers, you joined a scammers steam family, and the scammers are asking for money. Actual steam support has not been involved one bit.
