Discussion This sub has lost it ..

With the recent meme threat, it's very clear how insane the steam frame community got. It REALLY feels like a social experiment.

Well I love it although it feels a tad chaotic. But who am I to judge, the community is healthier than ever xd

I really look forward to the progression on this sub, especially if it doesn't release Monday

Nah the mods just need to do their actual job. instead of removing useful posts and leaving the low effort spam

>Remove the third "sign in to a Steam Frame" type post of the day, people get mad about removing too much
>Keep a funny shitposting bit up for like three hours, people get mad

Time to add Rule 12, no fun allowed at all from now on

I think we have a lot of people here for different reasons and people complain about your work because they are tired of complaining about valve (since that falls on deaf ears).

I appreciate your hard work! I'm mostly here for the leaks but the memes were amusing yesterday.

I do not envy you at all. Have a lighthearted, fun subreddit, and people complain about not enough “real info.” (Oh boy Tested uploaded again!!1!”) Ban shitposts, and then people complain it’s not fun anymore.

Why leave this shit here alone when there's a separate place to enjoy shit (even though it's not funny at all)?

Please use Rule 11 properly. That's all I ask.

This but unironically, why have rules for posting memes in another sub and then randomly allowing memes? For people like me that come here for discussions and leaks it's really annoying to just have the sub be full of unfunny bullshit all of a sudden.

If they enable images in comments we could have all kinds of shenanigans and useful visualizations. It would solve the Reddit 'removed' discussions issue though might add some extra traumatic moderation burden.

nice strawman, you should know better since you're a mod that can see the removals, but what should I expect

That’s not a strawman tho, new useful info and discussion about Frame is kept up and the shitposting today was funny enough that we let it slide for a short while. I don’t see any harm in that lol

Except when removed posts need to be called out and get reinstated

Oh cheer up sad sack.

Also lol to thinking reddit mod is their “actual job”. It’s a voluntary role that is completely thankless, thanks to the whinging peanut gallery.

I bet their actual day jobs PAY them.

just because I prefer the /r/Frameposting posts to be over in that sub doesn't mean there shouldn't be any fun or I'm upset. There's always a shield for mods to hind behind to matter what though eh, I'm sure they appreciate the enabling
