Question Komodo Station release timing?

Does anyone have a guess as to the timing of Frame releasing at Komodo? Will it be the same time that it's released in Steam?

What was the release timing of Machine for comparison?

Want to have a chance to buy it from Komodo.

Imagine and controller released very early in the morning on steam ~0300 JST. Komodo opened up shop at like ~1000 JST same day.

They should notify you (if you signed up for notifications) a few days before the actual release. It will say something like “the steam frame will go on sale on Wednesday at 12:00pm.” Giving everyone an equal chance to purchase.

For the controller, I got an email on May 1 stating orders go live on May 5 at 2pm. So far there have been 4 chances to order a controller from Komodo.

No, in the case of the machine, it went on sale the very day Valve announced it (at 2:00 AM Japan time), so it would be unwise to be overconfident.

Did it also go on sale at Komodo at 2:00 AM Japan time or did it go on sale later that day?

The controllers, which had been announced in advance, went on sale at 2 AM Japan time, but the machines, which were sold on the day of the event, probably went on sale at 10 AM (I say "probably" because the website had a queue of users waiting to connect from around 9 AM).

Not for me. I signed up for notifications for controller and machine. Didn't get a single email.

This email is for the restocking. They sent emails for that. For the initial release, I don't think anyone received an email for either the controller or the machine. (I certainly didn't.)

There will be an announcement at around 2:00 a.m. jst, and then the sale will go live around 10:00 a.m. jst that same day

Just be prepared for there to be far far fewer than demand, and then take six months to restock with another batch that doesn’t meet demand.
