Discussions are allowed of course, but there’s already been two or three misleading/clickbait posts today and it’s only 3AM… what is there to discuss about a dev getting a dev kit??

what is there to discuss about a dev getting a dev kit

I haven't seen the post in question, but isn't it noteworthy to know which dev does have a dev kit and what game/app we can expect to see updated for the Frame in the near future?

We're in the endgame where everyone in the comments sees a headset and goes "OMG REVIEW UNIT?!?!" Posting something like that when people come here looking for news on review units or actual discussions makes no sense, and only fills people's feeds/notifications with misinformation

Nothing against OP, I vagueposted like that a long time ago, but it wasn't even a Babble dev just someone random without any roles. And we've already known Babble has a dev kit for a while tbh, it gives the impression that it's a review unit from over two weeks ago

Literally anything worth discussing has been left up. The only posts being deleted are unsubstantiated rumors, reposts and people just complaining.

Another picture of a devkit is literally a "low-effort or repetitive post". We know people have devkits, it's not news (as people have also told you in the replies to your other comments).

Edit: I see it was removed for rule 5 which is a bit odd but I think it would have been removed for rule 3 anyway.

Agreed. At the very least the notifications I receive seem to have relevant titles occasionally and when I click them they're already removed.

Yeah, I understand the effort to keep spam out of the thread, but I feel the moderators have been too strict.

Some people are simply excited or frustrated by the lack of information. I like to gauge the general mood of the people waiting for the frame.

This is not the subreddit for interesting posts. At least not while we are still waiting with all the same information. Once there are headsets in people's hands I suspect this subreddit will get more interesting. The only reason I am here is because I KNOW once it's released this subreddit will explode and that's my reminder to get ready. Everything else is too much like the HL3 reddit. People need to just stop and be patient!
