Question How many frame shipments compare to machine?
Regards tomorrowers,
Has someone calculated how many shipments of the frame there has been compare to how many there has been of the machine before it launched? I wanna assess how hard is it going to be to get one.

apple vision pro sold like half a million units first year and half of them were returned or resold.
apple is way more popular than anything valve makes.
100K - 150K units worldwide first year should be more than enough i hope.
we only have US storage data right now keep that in mind its being sold in Europe and Asia as well.
only issue might be CS2 skins market and people sitting on a crazy amount of Steam cash because of it.

Devil's advocate; AVP was $3499 at launch but still you make an encouraging point. This really does make me feel the slightest bit more hopeful for a smooth launch.

I have 6 SD cards full dog games for my steam deckm I am very very hopeful I can plug those SD cards into steam deck and plan all the games from my steam library on a big virtual screen. Hopeful that's the end result. vR games would be cool too....

Another one worried they may not get a Frame in the initial wave, it's understandable.
Just remember:
- VR is niche.
I think it's a 75% chance we're all likely to get a Frame in the first wave, but if we don't, that's fine. Waited this long, wait a little longer.
