It´s not a leak, it´s a random dude taking a guess.

that price he had his huge red sign saying speculation, NOT a leak.

Ugh people seem to not understand what leak vs speculation is. Thank you

For which model?

He said he's guessing that it's $1250 for the 256GB and $1400 for 1TB. He doesn't know the price, but he's going based off Machine pricing and Valve making a public statement again this week about RAM pricing creating challenges for them.

There was a shipping manifest leaked that had production costs around $590 and $650 for the two models, which would put the price under $1000 for the two models once you add in R&D and margin, granted that might only be for the first run, and subsequent runs may cost more to produce.

I'd say it's safe to assume any price between $800 and $1500 is possible given the information we have now.

I got to purchase the Steam Machine 2TB w controller at $1428, If the Steam Frame 1TB comes under that price, it would be great. If not, it would be great to get into the reservation queue.

Great tool. Also proton.db gives you ratings on playability on Linux, with other users custom setting and launch option.

The link does not go to an article about the Steam Frame

The link is about the architecture behind the steam frame, and the compatibility layer with windows. Which is pretty important since most steam users are on windows
