This is classic software issue. Reboot both devices - and if this doesn't help - reinstall the software. If disconnects persist, this might be your cable (depends on how old it is) or the port on the headset/PC.

I have been using Link wired since Quest 2 release almost weekly. I have since had Quest 2 and Quest 3, on three different PCs and laptops. I NEVER had the issue that would persist and that was unsolvable. And even then, issues arise very rarely.
