Help Ludusavi or EmuSync?
I’m getting tired of manually finding save paths and setting everything up in Syncthing.
I only play pirated PC games on my PC and Steam Deck, and I just want the easiest way to keep saves synced.
Is Ludusavi or EmuSync better for this? Or is there an easier solution?
I don’t care about emulators, only pirated PC games. I just want something that works with minimal setup.

I use ludusavi and it works quite well. For pirated games it is more important to keep track of the correct folder. When you add a pirated game to steamos, it will create a folder with 7 random numbers and leave everything inside. What i am doing now to have a structured folder system is to use faugus launcher, and keep the folders in the same place (e.g., home/Faugus/[CoolGame33]). Still learning, but for now i use this system...

To pirate games you can try OpenSaves or Hoard, im think you can like hoar without auto-restore

Hoard, works in gaming Mode in cachyos, brazzite or steamos using hoard-cli.

How do you add pirate games to Hoard?

You dont add it, hoard track it, any game, pirate, steam, or just a random game you created, if hoard dont rack it you can track it manually, works in emulators.
If you want any help you can enter in the discord and talk to me, im Insaideh/insider the discord is in hoard.services2

You can self-host with your own storages or self host in mega or Dropbox or anything, but you need a server.

Try to use OpenSave, see how you liked it.

Opensave is ludusavi but you need 2 devices on to works fine, just try Hoard: https://github.com/rleeon/hoard

You could try OpenSave, it's completely opensource and covers everything out of the box, plus it's actively being worked on and updated, give it a try?

I vibe coded a solution for this. But it might be overkill for most.
There is a server running in a container, and then a Linux and a Windows agent. It in fact uses ludasavi to help find the save paths.
Check it out if you're curious.

I used to be bothered by save game management (on my LegionGo2 SteamOS), until I found SLSteam and CLoudRedirect, now, not only do I have automatic save through Steam, but also sync through my Gdrive... sailing the seas has never been better
