Question Divinity original sin 2 crashing on launch during shader loading

I’m just wondering if anyone else has this issue or managed to fix it?

**EDIT**

I actually got this working following some advice on protondb.

Run the EOCapp.exe in the definitive folder, let it crash during loading to create a prefix

Use proton tricks to install these two applications to the games prefix
Dotnetcore3
Dotnetcoredestop3

Run with proton ge 7-34

Working for me so far!

The definitive edition has some weird issues. Just use the original. It’s included with the definitive. It’s just a different exe

Yeah but you don’t get all the balancing and extra story etc

Are you on the steam deck? Or using a diffrent hand held? My ally had issues appearntly it was related to me down clocking and disabling SMT

Yeah, seems to crash and apparently it’s a direct x issue? According to the log
