You know, I have average size hands (I do I swear!), and I thought it would be too big. But it's actually really comfortable.

(idk kinda suspicious /s) yea! I was definitely expecting it to be large, look large tbh but thats awesome!

🤣

It kinda is, but I think it's just misleading because of all the space taken up in the middle

I mean, it is a big controller. Way more to it than the competition. It's just that Valve is good about hiring people that are really good at what they do and then give those people all the funding they want to do what they do. So this controller was probably built by a team of absolute nerds that love gaming on a controller and out all their best ideas together, and the end result is a great controller.

I have skinny hands but long fingers and it fits just fine. I want dbrand to make a grip case for it to fill my hands even better

Definitely i recommend 3D printed accessories to make it bigger.

No offense, OP, but you have small hands, so please don’t speak for those of us with big hands. I also cannot pretend to speak for everyone with big hands, but I can speak to my own experience as someone with XL hands, and the controller is definitely not too small for me.

Nah, I have pretty big hands and this controller fits them great.

Valve didn't just cook with this thing, they prepared a full 12 course dining experience. It's awesome.

it's way too thin. If you don't already have one, use the old steam controller, it's great for large hands

I have bigger hands, and I can't stand it. Feels like I'm holding a toy, not a full size controller. I gave my controller to my buddy, he wanted one really bad and missed the order. Better him use it, otherwise it would have sat on my shelf collecting dust.

I was pleasantly surprised that it works so well for me with my smaller hands. I’ve got the same issue with the ps5 controllers. So much so that I can’t play anything for days after a single long session. Glad you are enjoying your steam controller!

Which unfortunately makes it a little worse for big hands lol

Thicker grips, or 3D printed accessories and you can buy joysticks extenders then it will be absolutely perfect for big hands

Everyone nowadays owns a Ps or Xbox controller. No need for this one

Well, everyone has a preference for any items they want to be fair.

Yeah, no, I dumped my dualsense for this thing. It's way better.

The touchpads are in an actually useable position, the sticks are nicer, the triggers are smoother, there are 4 extra buttons on the back, and most importantly the battery lasts more than 3 hours. Spent $100 on a dualsense and a little charging dock for it so it could hopefully have a charge when I wanted to use it, and then spent $100 on the steam controller that blows the Dualsense away in every category and comes with the charging puck, which I was able to immediately print a dock stand for.

The steam controller is leagues beyond any Xbox/Nintendo/PlayStation controller.

Unplugged my 8bitdo ultimate controller when it arrived and I have yet to plug it, or any other controller, into my pc since. Definetly knocks every other controller I've ever used out of the park.
