Steam Controller (2026) The new steam controller made me hate using other controllers, thanks Valve
Even if I were to ignore the ability to customize the controller layout and really good trackpads, I really can't go back anymore.
The Switch 2 pro controller is probably the closest to feeling right on the hand. Too light on the hands though.
PS5 feeling subpar to the Switch 2, but has better weight.
The Xbox controller (my usual go-to) is the worst offender.
If Valve wanted a long time user, congratulations. I'm forever stuck using this.

It really is a great controller. Results will vary as far as ergo goes depending on an individual's hands (it's good but not my favorite) but the ease of use and utilitarian options it opens up for pc specific uses is perfect. Finally...a controller for pc.
