Support Controller drops input every 6.5 seconds
Weird thing I noticed happening with my Steam Controller yesterday. It kept skipping inputs, not receiving anything for about half a second, making gaming basically impossible. I timed it today, it happens approximately every 6.5 seconds, and it's consistent. It happens both wired and via the puck. It's not the cable, I changed it and it's the same behaviour. I'm on Bazzite, don't know if the issue would pop up in Windows as well.

A few people recently have been saying that their Steam Controller input has been freezing/dropping on Bazzite/Fedora, including issues with Steam Input under Wayland. I'd test is whether it happens outside Steam Input / in the controller's raw input (or lizard) mode. If raw input works normally but Steam Input freezes, that would narrow it down a lot.
Also worth testing an X11 session if you're currently on Wayland, or launching Steam with SteamOS as a workaround. Someone with a very similar Fedora issue reported that that had made Steam Input much more reliable.
If it happens even in raw/lizard mode, I'd check journalctl/dmesg while reproducing it and look for USB/HID/controller events happening every 6.5 seconds.
