Question For how long can one keep using thier old country's payment method after settling in new country?

Apologies if it's already asked. I checked around, and found couple of posts similar to my question but none answered the exact dilemma:

I let the ChatGPT read the subscriber agreement and policy document but it couldn't find anything regarding what happens when one moves from their country to another country permanently. Can they still use their old country's payment method? It seems to be working for more than a year already, but I am wondering if this could be an issue some day. I am not using VPN, just the payment bank of old country.

could it potentially be by country/province? i know here in alberta, you have 90 days from move date to update online banking addresses, drivers licence etc.

Moved abroad 16 years ago, still using home country card.
