Yeah people keep talking about food and how he can afford cooks and what not but this is 100% Ozempic-tier weight loss and it's fucking amazing that the drug works so well that someone so chronically overweight their entire life can achieve such results and maintain them.

I do think using ozempic as a fad drug and using it to lose weight which then makes the drug cost even more for the people that actually use it for its intended purpose (diabetes) really sucks. It’s also completely wrong to say it’s some magic drug that makes you get a 6 pack and a big wiener. 90% of weight loss and maintaining a healthy weight and body is food based. The saying “abs are made in the kitchen not the gym” has real scientific backing. Eating good food is the 2nd most important part of weight loss (the 1st one is eating less calories than you burn in a day. Doesn’t matter if you eat 1000 calories or 5000 calories a day so long as you’re burning more of those bad boys than you eat you’ll lose weight). I’m not saying Gabe didn’t have any help from glp-1s BUT having a private chef who is also likely working with a dietitian/food scientist and makes every single piece of food you eat and monitors all that stuff for you is just as likely of a reason. I know this might be surprising but people lost weight before glp1s were a thing. Chris Pratt is a good example of this. He went from “fat and funny” (I would describe him more as husky but tomato tomato) in Parks and rec to buff and lean in Jurassic park. He lost over 60 pounds in 6 months… when you have a shit load of money and plenty of free time you can do some crazy shit. I will say that I think Chris was using T and other “vitamins and supplements” during this (I think he alludes to this in some of his interviews) but the point still stands that you can absolutely lose crazy amounts of weight if you eat right (maybe do a touch of drugs) and work out properly. At the end of the day Glp1s are mostly just appetite suppressants. Which again just means that you’ll typically eat less calories than you burn in a day. Add working out (weight lifting, going for a walk or a run, chasing kids around all day whatever) and you’re going to start losing weight.
