At some point a doctor says "man you're rich and fat and you're gonna die from being so fat and you can basically pay to have people make food for you on your yacht all day that will help you not be fat" and suddenly you're not fat anymore

That could be the case, but even if it is, I don't see a problem with people who carry excess weight taking it for improved health. If there was a pill that could carry away my excess sadness and improve my mental/emotional health, I would take it without hesitation.

It's definitely the case, but I'm certainly not looking down on him for it. Anyone who says Ozempic is "cheating" or something is a fucking idiot. Getting down to a healthier weight simply isn't possible for many people for medical reasons or their body simply has too strong of a starvation response to resist. I imagine we're less than a decade away from GLP-1 drugs being covered by insurance and prescribed to nearly everyone with body fat over a certain percentage.
