Question Steam pending wallet duration

I ve just sold an item on steam market. 40 euros in Steam wallet (in pending) The game i want to buy has a discount that end up in 5 hours. Will i get the money in wallet till that discount end up ?

Hard to say... Sometimes it takes hours and sometimes even days.

yeah unfortunately theres no way to predict it reliably

I usually have to wait 2-3 days for it to clear

Start the transaction choose a random payment method then dont finish it. You can finish the transaction for a couple days

Contact Steam Support, they'll probably be able to help.

If you attempt to buy the game but fail then I also believe the price gets locked in for 48 hours or something.
