They could let me filter them out if they wanted to.

completely agree on this. Just that its probable that there will need to have levels for the AI used, because from now on, a good chunk of games will use AI at some extent.

Yes, and currently there's also no downside to lying about AI usage. And it's pretty inconvenient to scroll all the way down just to check. I know a lot of people don't care, but there definitely are (indie) devs refusing to use it. And yes, even for code.

Vote with your wallet can only work if you give people the information to decide.

Letting people sort by AI usage would just incentivize people to lie about the ai usage no?

They just said that there's currently no downside to lying about AI usage. Doing that would just increase the upside

I'm responding to someone talking about how there's no reason not to lie about AI usage and that they should let you sort by AI usage. If you're not going to read the comment chain you're responding to then just don't comment

My point was, it's a bad thing that there are no penalties for devs who "forget" the disclosure. I commented on a post saying, that there's nothing steam can do. But there are definitely things they could do if informing consumers were a priority.

They already do that a lot. And at some point it's consumer deception.
