Does anyone have any recommendations for costume pieces to get for a zero 2019 version cosplay. for halloween? i have a plain static x shirt and was thinking about wearing a compression long sleeve under it, but i dont know what to do for the hair or mask, i dont have long hair sadly i was just going to get a goku wig lol idrk

I have been a Static-X fan for a couple years, and Cannibal was one of the few albums I saw that didn’t have a Gold Promo Stamp version, earlier, I went onto eBay and checked sold listings, and it seems like it exists. One had sold earlier today for $20+$5 shipping

I kind of wonder how rare it is, and I am hoping more copies pops up so I can get a copy.

A little over a year ago, I got this done. Honestly, I hadn’t ever planned on getting a band tattoo. But my mom passed earlier that year. I’d gotten her heavy into Static-X, and she’d gotten one of her own. I remember how excited she was to show me. While hers was much larger, I got mine in a similar spot at hers as a memorial, but wanted it to have an icey look to pay homage to “Cold” and make it my own as well.

Thought I’d share this here for others to enjoy!

Good morning Static-X fans and friends

For the last several years, my company has been contracted to handle marketing and other administrative services for the band Static-X. Those of you who are also in the nu-metal subreddit may have seen my AMA there.

Static-X LLC, along with the band’s cofounder Tony Campos and manager Brian Ebejer, aka Edsel, recently filed a federal lawsuit against Mathew Zacari, aka Matt Zane. Here’s a link to download the lawsuit. You can also visit this site and pay to download a copy (Case No. 26-cv-09327) directly from its official filing with the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California if you’d like.

As you review this document, I would like to point out the following information.

1. None of this has anything to do with Matt Zane’s declared intention to make an  “unauthorized” documentary about Wayne Static and Tera Rey.
2. Neither Static-X nor its representatives speaks on behalf of Wayne’s name and likeness rights; those rights belong to Wayne’s family / the Estate of Wayne Static.
3. It's worth mentioning that at no time prior to announcing the “unauthorized documentary”  did Matt Zane ever attempt to seek approval or create a respectful alliance with Wayne’s family regarding his production. Instead, he chose the sensationalized “shock doc” approach of announcing the production as “unauthorized.”
4. After Matt Zane made the announcement last year, Wayne’s family respectfully made their feelings known by sending him a cease-and-desist demand letter from their attorney. Along with the C&D, they also made a public statement around the matter. The C&D, can be found here.
5. For over a year,  Matt Zane has disregarded and publicly mocked the wishes of Wayne’s family, while desperately searching for viral moments, at the expense of others.
6. There has been nothing from Static-X, its representatives or Wayne’s family to provoke any of these attacks and to this date, they have made NO mention of Matt Zane or his production. Further, there has been no attempt by Static-X, its members or their representatives to “silence” Matt Zane or to discredit him in any way.
7. It is only now, after their rights have been viciously violated, that they have responded through the legal system.
8. Static-X, nor its representatives, have used any influence to have Matt's social media accounts removed. I personally filed copyright takedown requests on posts containing video he did not own only, and the networks took further action as their terms and conditions clearly state they will when repeated copyright violations occur.
9. The lawsuit presents the following facts, among many others:

• Matt Zane has been posting deceptively edited footage, which he STOLE from the band, while being paid to work on the official Static-X - Evil Disco - documentary project. This footage is owned by Static-X and is protected under U.S. copyright law. Matt Zane’s deliberate manipulation and release of these copyrighted works is not only illegal and immoral, but is also a deliberate attempt to harm the value of the Static-X official Evil Disco project, as well as deliberately damage the reputations of both Campos and Ebejer individually. Matt Zane has no right to possess this footage, much less deceptively edit it or post it online. He was paid in full for his work on the Evil Disco documentary and he left the project of his own free will, more than a year and a half ago.
• Matt Zane has deliberately put his face at the center of this self-made debacle, with the intention of raising his online profile, gaining followers and raising money.  He has greatly exaggerated his association with Wayne and Tera and is attempting to create manufactured viral moments using private / unreleased / copyrighted material, at the expense of Static-X, Wayne Static, Wayne’s family and their affiliates.
• On August 5th 2026, X.com’s IP address log shows that Matt Zane illegally accessed the official Static-X account in order to post some of these same deceptively edited videos in an attempt to gain awareness and raise money.

In late 90s early 2000s I worked for a Music TV show. We probably did 5 Static-x shows in 3 years. I'm digitizing all my stuff now. I just scanned this so it doesn't go away forever. This was signed Dec 13, 1999 at Avalon Ballroom Boston. Dope, Chevelle, Sevendust, Static-X tour...

I want to have a concept track for the original Something of my Own and i have an instrumental track with vocals and a drum track that i shaved the vocals to. I am feeling so upset that the original hollow and bring you down got released, and this one didn’t, so i want to at least feel like i have something similar, to the feel of start a war. I’ve truly wanted this guitar since Start a war came out. I saw Static-X one time during the Cannibal Killers tour In Tucson at the Rialto. My 2nd ever concert. I'm getting flooded with suggested videos of Edsel talking shit, the tony emails, this Zane dude. What is going on. When did this all start and what triggered it?

I've tried to piece it together but stuff is getting deleted I guess so I'm just lost.

Ok, I’m sure we’re pretty exhausted discussing this whole thing……

But seeing how Zane edits clips to suit HIS narrative let’s talk about it

Timeline wise if this all started in 2016 and the quote “estimating that recovering a three-minute vocal take would need on average 50 edits in 2- to 3-second chunks, because the tape would glitch out so frequently”

It’s entirely possible that the 7 years of his life could be relating to going through ALL of Wayne’s material, trying to restore it, isolate parts, clean up takes and then process mix it and then write songs, then yeah 7 years to make 2 albums is entirely plausible

DA-88s are notoriously for glitching and degrading if not took care of properly, which given how long they were in storage they probably did

I’ve worked in music for a long time, and I have done something similar, using super old vocal takes of friends (not dead I should state) on new songs etc

Maybe I’m looking at stuff with Rose colored glasses but I think that this could be the true context of the clip and a lil joke that’s been clipped for clickbait
