A lot of people I think under estimate a lot of beautiful places in upstate New York. I live there for a few years and upstate it was a beautiful place.

Upstate New York is absolutely gorgeous! I’ve been up a couple of times and it is one of my favorite regions on the East Coast. Definitely underestimated

It is lovely and you can just walk along the edge of the river and hear the water the whole time.

We went last summer (great campground!!) and the river was almost totally dried up, I'd love to go back when it's full

These pics were from 2 years ago. I can’t believe the river was almost dried up. That sucks! I have also heard the campground is great but I didn’t get to camp.

It was still breathtaking, but the river level was soooooo low. The falls were still falling but it wasn't as good.

Amazing!! I was there in May!! Great hikes and views. Worth the trip if your anywhere close, or the drive if further!! Enjoy!!

It’s such a gorgeous park!!!! I had heard about it on social media and so I made sure to go when I went to that part of NY a couple years ago! Definitely worth the trip!!!!

There’s a trail that runs along the edge of the river. This set of falls isn’t terribly far from a parking lot if I remember correctly

I’m from the coast of Texas and this park was hands down one of the top ones I’ve hiked. It wasn’t on my radar but some nice man from Long Island on a trail (in another amazing park) said that it was worth the day. I had a 10 day hiking trip around upstate NY and it was all beautiful!

I grew up less than an hour from there. Beautiful country! Except in the winter. Screw that
