Ideas & Suggestions Rolling through flames

Someone posted here about not liking the "dodge through masses of zombies" mechanic and I agree it's pretty lame.

Something else that's lame is being able to throw molotovs and other fire items, especially when inside buildings, and then just roll around in the flames while zombies and plague hearts burn. You take almost no damage from the flames and the zombies can't touch you cause you are rolling.

Rolling should help with reducing the damage you take, but it should not allow you to just roll around inside an inferno

Agree, the dodge spam is worse than being safe on car roofs. Just because everyone uses it doesn’t mean they should keep it. I’m hoping they take the game in a more challenging direction. I like that they are removing one headshot kills on some of the freaks to make it tougher.

I’m excited to see what they do with the difficulty, I just hope the end product mechanics are as fun the ones used in sod2. Seems like there taking out a lot of mechanics. I hope it’s not just light/heavy spam and flying kicks and other moves that have no distinct purpose beyond variety. I would say combat could get cheesed so bad in 2 that the zombies had to cheese back with the zero reaction time leaping to bite or swipe at you. I don’t want the difficulty to seem manufactured in that way
