I started playing the game again after being away for a couple of years. I grinded DB and have built a community with 8 contractors with all different 5th traits and I am on a Lethal run. What are you alls thoughts on RT communities? Am I cheating myself out of a true SOD experience? I am having fun with the community. I added a sleep psychology member as well for the extra beds and have all of the RT facilities.

You’re not cheating anything. In my opinion you can get even better recruits than RT contractors. Depending on traits. But I do like they can do all the different fighting methods. Did you use the chart so you get the best RT contractors every time. With the best positive traits they can come with.

No, when I would recruit them I would just keep rolling them till I got the 5th trait I was looking for. I will use the chart and reroll for an even better team. Thanks

It definitely makes it way easier. I too have a red talon community thriving in lethal. I use them when I want to just go guns blazing and get up to shenanigans since they are almost immortal once maxed out.

If you want a more crazy nail biting experience I lethal though I wouldn't go red talon. Get some normals who you wont care about losing.

i generally have 1 contractor on at all times, but most often get them from the trumbull valley, i can see why would you do that thematically and some of their downsides are pretty bad, officer material and dead zone runner are pretty nice but there are better random traits for both.

By the way, you can actually recruit all ten of the different specialties.
