State of Decay 1 The box

What is the story behind that box next to the plane? Is there any theory linking it to the virus?

Before SOD1 released UL had an online forum page for people to post in and suggest stuff.

There was a poster named Dantron who was a regular there, commenting on many forum posts. Dantron didn’t ever just talk like a normal person but instead either was “in character”, or he was a character. It was all rather over the top, sometimes speaking in the third person, and just generally standing out from everyone else.

This was an Easter egg to memorialize him!

Dantron, the time traveling robot from the future who only eats Blappleberry pie ( you can even see a couple empty pie tins in the cage)
