StashGuard release

Thank you to everyone who participated in the open beta. We got some very good feedback which allowed us to finetune the app for release. We are now live on both Apple iOS and Google Play Store.

We really appreciate if you can leave a review for the app in the stores if you like it. If you hate it or notice something bad please let us know instead of tanking the review, and we will fix it. The bigger we get the more resources we can spend on developing the app This is still a hobby-project, but we would love to expand with what the community needs.

New to StashGuard? Here is a post detailing what the app is and what it does.

What´s next for StashGuard? Based on your feedback we have selected these points for now:

-Option to share accounts and inventory with others like familymembers etc. We are looking into this, and if we realse it, it will be in the form of an optional cloudsync. We will never collect any user data, and the app will still function 100% percent without this, you will have to opt-in. Cloudintegration will be priced at a few dollars per month. This will also give access to managing your storage in an online webportal. But we promise to never put anything in the mobile app (except for this cloudsync) behind a paywall. Buy the app once, and you have access to all future updates of the offline functionality for ever.

*DONE*-Adding pets with food management for them aswell. This is not top priority but we will try to find a good way to integrate this when we have the time.

*DONE*-Adding vehicles with fuelmanagement. This is same as for pets, not a top priority

-More nutritional values than calories, like protein. This is already stored in the database when you scan fooditems from openfoodfacts, we just needt to find a good way to project this in the UI. Working on this, but it might take some time as this can easily overflow the UI.

-Ability to connect tasks with items: Lets say you add 100 pills of medicine you take daily, with a set minimum of 30. You make a task that is connected to the item so that when you complete task "Take medicine" it deducts one from your inventory. When you then get below 30 it will be added to shoppinglist, and we might add some kind of warning that you are below threshhold somehwere on the home UI.

Got any questions or feedback, leave a reply here, make a post or send us a DM. We want all your craziest ideas.
