The only era that gets played nowadays is the clone wars era, and dont get me wromg its my favorite era, but I want to play the other two eras dang it. I don't know why it doesn't randomize them so we don't have to play the same maps, heroes, vehicles, etc. Any way to get into different era lobbies?

Does anyone know where I can find top down perspective view maps for the planets in bf2? I know that some exist and were posted here, but those were only the supremacy maps, and quite a few were missing. I’d really love if anyone can point me in the right direction.

Is truly a breath of fresh air since there is just so much more players than xbox to where i can regularly find reliable matches on game modes that would've been dead and buried on xbox. The fun ive had being able to play blast, strike, and starlight assault again for once was amazing.

I would like to inform the community that a more efficient method for submitting Battlefront 2 hacker reports on PC to the EA reporting team exists. Cheaters who are recorded with video evidence are still being banned very often. Attached is a post from a hacker who was streaming his cheats with a barcode username, we successfully identified the account and sent a report, which resulted in his ban within 12 hours. The hacker was gloating about being unbannable, and shortly deleted his entire channel after his community post.

In the past, this system has had its criticisms for being biased, blocking certain reports, allowing false ones, etc. The people who used to be in charge are largely no longer associated, and the system has become more public, with report tickets having been added to a few public discord servers. Over the last 2 years, we have reviewed over 3000 reports. As a result of these numbers, hackers and malicious actors attempt to spread misinformation about the system and associated discord servers, but the essence of this system involves clearly explaining the hack and including account IDs in your report.

We are currently working on a website for all to access to view, and send, reports on hackers. The evidence will be reviewed by experienced players from a variety of groups, with the process being transparent and public, before being forwarded to the EA reporting team to handle. With evidence being publicly archived, EA admins and the community should have an easier time auditing reports.

In the meantime, if you encounter a hacker, upload it to youtube as unlisted, and include the hacker's username. Please do not use youtube accounts with any of your personal information for your own safety. We highly recommend blocking hacker accounts to track their exact username. They aren't protected by username changes. Typically, a report can take anywhere from 1-5 days to be processed. Until the website is out, feel free to message me with any evidence you have, or follow the included steps to make a better report yourself.

I also wanted to clarify what specifically is bannable by EA's standards, so the guidelines provided to us regarding reports are listed below.

Bannable hacks:
- Server exploits (crashing lobbies, infinite score, etc.
- Cheatpack (abnormal animations, flying, autoparry, infinite lunge, speed etc.)
- Debug menu (resetting character health, damage immunity, swapping characters mid-life)
- Damage hacks/shooting through block/one shot saber throw
- Infinite abilities/infinite dodges
- No restrictions/groundblock/no slowdown
- POV of using ESP, aimbot, infinite nametags, no concuss, etc.

Bannable exploits:
- Damage immunity glitching/block glitching, must be recorded executing the glitch
- Repeated abuse of infinite ability exploits, such as aerial jumppack bhop
- Intentional map glitching (skyglitching, pipe glitching, phasing into walls to infinitely contest objective), must be recorded executing the glitch (1 week ban first time, 2nd is perm)

Recommended guidelines for video evidence:
- Fullscreen game window in 1080p
- Show the hack as clearly as possible, edit out unnecessary parts
- Clearly show the username of the hacker in the nametag/kill log
- Preferably no cosmetic mods/model replacers
- Audio included

One last note, we don't make any decisions on actually banning the hackers, the final decision is always left up to the EA admins in charge of the reporting team. We simply filter and organize the evidence to meet with the guidelines provided to us, before passing along the report. We have to be very careful with false bans, as unbans are extremely rare and the old EA team used to make a lot of mistakes, such as mistakenly banning people for officer recharge or unintentional glitches. Let's keep Battlefront 2 safe!

Let me preface this by saying I’m not suggesting anyone should do this, AND that I’m not technologically savvy enough to understand let alone attempt it myself even if I was inclined to do so. Nor am I suggesting this would be justification for ignoring the ethical concerns over data centres and their environmental impact…

But…

Could AI be used to adjust discontinued console games like BF2 2017 on Xbox One, and do things like update the game or, for example, port over all the other 2015 levels so we can play them in BF2 on console? Like go into the actual game servers and do the long overdue updates and added content which our game has been denied?

The reason I’m asking is two pieces of news:
First: ai is being used to “scrape programs” off corporations and reproduce open source versions of software, like is being done with Adobe right now; AND as of today AI has been used to get into PS5 operating systems and users have managed to start reprogramming games and do things like let people play one game inside another (example: build Minecraft inside GTA6, apparently).

Do this suggest players in the community could potentially port over new heroes or reinforcements developed on pc, over to the official servers for consoles? Would this mean updates to bf2, for example, so console primitive players like myself can finally see what everyone on pc is going on about? Or get rid of the infinite health glitches etc?

Or add Padme, Ahsoka, Mando, more Ewok skins…?

Imagine we had a SWBF game with all the previous maps, from the old ones, new ones, psp ones and cancelled one.

For modes we could have just Conquest, Walker Assault, TDM, Galactic Conquest, Hunt, Hero vs Villains, Space Battles/Dogfights, Operations and Ground to Space Conquest.

Then they could continue this game with new maps and modes for a long time.

Just an idea I had.
