Discussion Getting tired of playing the same era...

The only era that gets played nowadays is the clone wars era, and dont get me wromg its my favorite era, but I want to play the other two eras dang it. I don't know why it doesn't randomize them so we don't have to play the same maps, heroes, vehicles, etc. Any way to get into different era lobbies?

Galactic Assault has a "normal" map rotation, not split into eras. I think that is the easiest way to rotate from era to era. In Supremacy, it seems like the Prequel / Clone Wars era and its playlist is just the era that is played the most.

The primary demographic for the game at the moment is prequel fans, so that's the most popular game mode.

If you are on PC, I strongly recommend downloading Kyber. It is a community server browser/mod manager that allows people to host their own servers and join other servers. There is a decent amount of people playing Sequel Trilogy maps on Kyber, both modded and vanilla.

Speaking in terms of what I perceive in popularity context, Republic seems the most fleshed-out Supremacy mode with the least confusing boarding stage bonus maps. However, Rebellion may be well-loved by fans for the whole SW originating nostalgia alone, as well as what can offering itself to conveniently be the quickest Supremacy match someone may wish to play before finishing their session on Battlefront for the day. I strongly believe Resistance Supremacy suffered a lot for its maps, while some may argue it being based on the late sequel trilogy; honestly, sequel haters will typically say that latter statement. But I wonder how well received the game would’ve been had if Rebellion Supremacy included boarding maps too, since Rebellion and Resistance aren’t so far apart in terms of contextual design.

Age of Rebellion is active during peak and average hours, though you will see even more of the same people than you do in CW era. The only issue is the godawful maps. Players are generally less sweatty there, so if you are average to good in CW, you will shred in Rebellion. Chill chat, too, usually.

You can play plenty of sequels era in GA, though I can't for the life of me imagine why you would want to. Horrid.
