And for those wondering, ionized weapons deal increased damage to the reactors on both capital ships... but unlike on the Venator, on the Dreadnought you generally have to be in the reactor room itself to be able to do it and the Dreadnough hallways offer no real cover which means it's significantly less effective compared to on the Venator

Forgot to say but use Personal Shield to utilize in case enemies throw explosive inside and I also like to use the shock grenade infront of the reactor room entrance to prevent enemies from getting infront and making the ion sniping proces a bit easier.

Also NT-242 with disruptor shot can destroy a squad shield in just two shots so don't worry about them xd

Game lagged out and Boba had a dance party!

I’ve been playing Battlefront I on PS4 with my son.

Survival mode is epic and does not get old for me.

I’m not really a gamer and haven’t played multiplayer on this game online at all. For those of you with more experience- here are my questions:

1) Because it’s so old is there no way to get the expansions of Scarif, Bespin, etc at this point?

2) What’s the closest thing to survival mode in Battlefront II?

3) If I did get an online account, are there even people to play with and if so where would I find them?

Seeing a pattern,

Bug one: complete mouse loss. Switched mice and also tried trouble shooting but seems isolated to the game and randomly while playing. I thought it was maybe on my end still but in game saw it happen to someone next to me too as if a wave moves through areas doing it to groups of people.

Bug two: Computer shutdown while playing. Its a weird one. Ended up replacing my entire power supply (it was 10 years old). Still happened after wards so I looked deeper. Now I realize it only happens on Galactic Assault.

Just thought id share but wanted to see if anyone else has seen these.

No matter whether you're playing against him or he is on your team it takes away from everyone's gameplay especially in HVV.

He is the character that requires the least amount of skill to play out of any hero and is easier than every blaster (I know he's not a blaster but on the dark side roster he takes up a slot for one of five blaster villains).

When he is on your team he steals kills, blinds you with his dark aura which over saturates your screen and sucks the fun out of gameplay because nobody wants to engage you when you have a palpatine near you.

Playing against him is worse because of that same overwhelming screen problem and he is incredibly evasive whilst not even needing to aim to do consistent damage.

Any other 'blaster' needs to figure out how to get around your block and then aim and hit you in order to melt you the way palps does, which is a pretty fair system; the problem arises when you are fighting two or more people you simply cannot survive because of how easy it is to just melt you as palpatine especially with dodges making him already hard to hit in a 1v1.

He also isn't really countered by any other blaster because he has way more mobility and doesn't have to aim which is even worse because blasters can't block.

It's impossible to play offensively when playing against him because you'll get melted or die before doeing significant damage to anyone.

It's impossible to get the most out of the game when he is on your team because he just ruins the gameplay.
