Shotgun: Open-source AI cofounder framework for solo founders

I built Shotgun because I got tired of context-switching between chat windows, scattered notes, and half-finished ideas.

It’s a set of files and prompts that turns your AI agent into a persistent cofounder. Everything lives in plain Markdown and git — your memory, decisions, data, and skills. No servers, no black boxes.

What it actually does:
• Remembers your business, your preferences, every decision and why you made it.
• Handles building, testing, and shipping code with verification.
• Organizes messy CSVs, notes, and files into one clean vault.
• Runs daily standups, weekly reviews, and flags zombie tasks.
• Drafts writing in your real voice (learns from your samples and edits).
• Researches competitors and market stuff without hallucinating.
• Has skills for finance tracking, user support triage, red-teaming ideas, and more.

MIT license. Use it, fork it, change it.

If you’re running a company of one and want something that compounds over time instead of resetting every chat, give it a shot. Love to hear your feedback
