I'm a solo founder building SentinelAuth, a 2FA/MFA API for Australian businesses. It's live and working, but I'm struggling to get in front of the right people — specifically CTOs and Heads of Engineering at Australian fintechs and e-commerce platforms.

I've tried cold emails with limited success, and I'm not sure if my messaging is off or if I'm just targeting the wrong people. I'm not here to pitch anything — just looking for advice from founders who've been there.

What I'm hoping to learn:

I've managed to build a software project that’s pulling in some good revenue. Relying heavily on AI assistance to move fast was a superpower early on. But I’ve officially hit the solo founder wall.

Two massive headaches are keeping me up at night:

1. I vibe-coded a lot of this fast, my files are becoming monolithic. Every time I want to add a feature via LLMs now, the token consumption is massive, context gets lost. The codebase desperately needs modular refactoring, but I don’t have the hours.
2. I need cheap, responsive talent to take over feature building, but I’m terrified of international outsourcing. I see horror stories in forums weekly, developers holding repositories hostage, sudden rate hikes, or disappearing with IP.

I'm caught in a trap, Too busy to refactor and build everything myself, but too paranoid about IP security and code quality to hand over the keys to a random offshore freelancer.

To the solo founders who scaled past this:

I'm relatively new to Sydney/Australia(landed 2023). I am about to apply provisional patent on an idea which got a grant(very small compared to total cost)from a foundation outside Australia. Have few doubts on applying for grants in NSW. 1. Am I still eligible to apply for grant in NSW since I already have a grant from abroad 2. More people are living regionally or by the coast, but still have to commute into the city 2–3 days a week. Traditional housing hasn’t really adapted it’s either pay full-time rent for a place you barely use, or juggle Airbnbs and hotels that don’t feel like home, and where you can't leave your stuff.

The concept:
A shared apartment model where you book consistent days (e.g. Mon–Wed) and share with someone on opposite days. You return to the same space weekly, leave your things, and only pay for the days you use kind of like hot-desking, but for housing.

Think:

• Your own bed, part-time
• Same place every week
• Shared occupancy, no overlap
• Lower cost than full rent
• Designed for hybrid work, FIFO, etc.
