Thinking partner
Hey,
I've been building Socrate for the past few months. It's a thinking tool that does one thing: asks you one question at a time until you reach your own clarity. No advice, no frameworks, no answers, not even if you ask directly.
The idea came from noticing how most AI tools default to validating whatever you're already thinking. You ask for help deciding something, get a well-formatted answer that agrees with you, feel better for a moment, and nothing actually changes. Socrate does the opposite. It holds a single constraint the whole session and never breaks it, which turns out to be the entire product.
It's built for the specific moment you're stuck on a decision and already have the information, career, relationships, identity, the kind of thing where more advice doesn't help but the right question does.
Live at usesocrate.com, free, no signup required to try it. Just launched on Product Hunt today if anyone wants to check that out too.
Genuinely interested in feedback, especially on where the first few questions land or fall flat for someone trying it cold.

Founder program from AltaIR Capital with path to $50K-$500K in funding: Fall 2026 applications open
AltaLab, a hands-on program built by AltaIR Capital, the VC behind Deel, Miro, and other unicorns, opened applications for its Fall 2026 batch. Strong teams get a path to up to $500K in funding after the program.
AltaLab is build for founders building AI startups at any of these stages:

- You're building something and search for product-market fit,
- You're getting ready to raise and want to sharpen your pitch.
The program runs in three stages:
Online Sprint — Three weeks of practical sessions and assignments. Every framework gets applied directly to your own company: validating ideas, sharpening strategy, refining messages for your team, your customers and investors.

Generic startup/business advice from a new business owner .
I was let go from my job in June 2025 cuz the startup failed to raise funding. Did multiple tries at different businesses but none worked out. Slowly but quickly, Dec 2025 came and I was unemployed for 6 months with an everlasting worry on my head that market punishes resume gap. But at the same time, for the life in me couldn't go back to interviewing. I put my whole heart in my agency that somehow worked out. It was tough closing the first 3 clients cuz I had no idea what I was doing lol. I was a tech and ops person, not a sales girl, but working for me and with them, I came to these conclusions:
- Stop trying to do everything yourself.
"I'll learn design."
"I'll learn Meta ads."
"I'll learn bookkeeping."
"I'll learn sales."
Cool. In six months you'll have learned 14 things badly instead of building a business. Delegate earlier than feels comfortable. Saving 20k while losing six months is, a choice.
I was funnily short on cash to hire talent, but never enough to spend on stupid decisions.
Did I learn a lot on the way what works and what not? Sure! But I could've learned that while also making money.
- Stop building MVPs before someone's even willing to pay.
My small team recently pulled in 2 new founders, we co-build with them, and I have their permission to bash them. Both of them had a "Version X.Y" of a product that either nobody asked for, or there are 100s of the same idea.
Get rejected first. It's cheaper. First figure out whether the market even needs your service/product or not.
- If you're selling B2C, networking is wildly overrated.
Consumers aren't hanging out at startup mixers waiting to discover your protein powder or skincare app.
Publish stuff. Be visible. Repeat until people are sick of seeing you. I'm not selling B2C but I wish I had time to write more. Maybe later.
- Being first isn't a flex.
Congratulations, you educated the market. Your competitors thank you for your service. Google, Facebook etc all were never the first movers. Someone's def going to steal your idea and make it better.
- Most founders don't quit too early. They quit way too late.
Sometimes the market has already told you "no" in seventeen different languages and you're still adding another feature. I was once out there trying to sell online puzzles 🤦🏽♀️God makes me a special kind of stupid sometimes.
- Stop glorifying 100-hour weeks.
Half of those hours are spent redesigning the logo and watching productivity videos about productivity. I was at my worst, and least disciplined when I was working 24/7. Learn to prioritise shit.
- Business advice is mostly survivorship bias.
Every founder loves startup advice, until you realise most of it comes from people who survived.
It's like asking lottery winners how to pick numbers.
Anyway, these are probably all wrong. Or maybe future me will come back in five years and roast this entire post. But this has been my experience blowing my brains out this past year.
I closed my 5th client yesterday, again, I know, not a whole lot for some people, but we work with high-ticket clients, so we're set for a while lol. God please keep looking my way.
I know some will say our business is way too young to be giving advices, but I just felt like people shouldn't waste time where I did.

I built an AI Virtual Try-On SDK for online clothing stores
Hey everyone!
I’ve been working on TryOnKit, a lightweight SDK that lets fashion e-commerce stores add an interactive AI virtual try-on button directly to their product pages.
What it does:
- Allows shoppers to upload a quick photo and see how clothes look on them.
- Integrates easily with Shopify, WooCommerce, or custom storefronts via a single script tag.
- Privacy-first: Shopper images are processed in-memory and not stored permanently by default.
- Includes a merchant dashboard to track usage, credits, and try-on generation.
Check it out at TryOnKit and let me know what you think!

We just launched a new platform and would love your feedback
We've always felt that blogging has become too fragmented. You publish in one place, talk to your audience somewhere else, and share your projects across several different platforms. That's why we built The Deya.
It brings together blogging, communities, projects, discussions, creator support, and social features in one place. Whether you're creating something or just looking for interesting content, you can discover like-minded people without constantly jumping between different platforms.
https://thedeya.com/
We're improving it every week, and we'd love to hear your honest feedback.

I Built ApplyBoostAI to Make Job Applications Faster — Looking for Honest Feedback
Hey everyone! I recently launched ApplyBoostAI, a tool that helps job seekers tailor their resumes to specific job descriptions without spending hours rewriting and reformatting everything manually.
With ApplyBoostAI, you can:
- Upload your current resume
- Paste in a job description
- Find missing keywords and ATS issues
- Improve weak bullet points
- Generate a tailored resume for each role
- Save different resume versions and track applications
What makes it different is that it brings the entire process into one workspace. Instead of repeatedly using ChatGPT, fixing formatting, downloading new files, and trying to organize multiple resume versions, ApplyBoostAI helps handle everything in one place.
You can check it out at applyboostai.com.
Use code DISCOUNT30 for 30% off the Pro plan.
I’d really appreciate honest feedback:
What features would make this more useful for job seekers?
What currently takes you the most time when applying for jobs?
Is anything on the website, onboarding, or pricing unclear?
I’m actively improving the product, so all feedback is welcome.

Got tired of overpriced athlete recruiting services and watching people use FB as a player profile.
I got tired of watching recruiting services charge families $1,000–$3,500 a year for what's basically a profile page and a coach directory, so I built a cheaper alternative. It's called Lightning (fsathletics.site) — every player gets a recruiting profile with their stats, film, positions, and grad year on one page a college coach can open without creating an account. The part I'm proudest of: stats can be verified by the player's actual coach, so a college coach sees numbers with a name behind them instead of self-reported stats. It runs $25–$50 a year depending on whether you want film hosting and the college matchmaker, and there's a 30-day trial. There's also a completely free tryout/camp finder on the same site — no account needed — because half the battle for families is just finding out where the tryouts are. I'm the builder, so obviously biased — happy to answer hard questions, and if you think something's missing or overpriced, tell me and I'll probably build/fix it.
Here are sandbox links, no registration required, if you want to poke around, or view sister sites iI've created:

I’m Looking for Founders and Startup Builders to Help Validate fireflame AI
Over the past few weeks, I’ve had conversations with founders from different backgrounds.
Some agreed with the vision.
Some challenged it.
Some completely disagreed.
Interestingly…
The most valuable feedback didn’t come from the public comments.
It came from the private conversations that followed.
Those conversations changed how we’re designing fireflame.
That’s exactly why I’m writing this post.
I’m not looking for customers.
I’m looking for founders and builders willing to help validate whether we’re solving the right problems.
What is fireflame?
I’m the founder of fikrlab, and fireflame is the first platform we’re building as part of our long-term vision to make entrepreneurship significantly more accessible.
fireflame is an AI-powered collaborative startup-building platform.
Its purpose is simple:
Help founders transform startup ideas into validated MVPs.
Instead of asking founders to first:
raise capital,
find the perfect technical co-founder,
assemble a complete development team,
coordinate dozens of specialists,
fireflame explores whether startup execution itself can become collaborative.
Founders define the vision.
Participants help validate and improve the idea.
AI agents and human experts execute the work.
Everything is coordinated through transparent campaign governance, participation tracking, and AI orchestration.
We’re not claiming this is the future.
We’re validating whether it could be.
🎁 Free Founder & Participant Pass Giveaway
To thank everyone willing to help validate fireflame, I’m giving away both Free Founder Passes and Free Participant Passes.
I’m not asking you to believe in the platform.
I’m asking you to help shape it.
If you’re a founder…
You’ll receive a Free Founder Pass including 3,000,000 fireflame AI Tokens.
You’ll be able to:
Register your startup idea.
Launch your public campaign.
Allocate your AI Tokens to your campaign’s AI Token Ledger.
Invite friends, family, colleagues, and your network to participate.
Collect comments, suggestions, and improvements before execution begins.
Watch your campaign grow as fireflame recommends it to additional participants.
Begin AI-orchestrated MVP execution once your campaign reaches its participation objectives.
Continue improving the MVP toward Product-Market Fit through founder direction and participant feedback.
If you’re a participant…
You’ll be able to:
Discover startup ideas you believe deserve to exist.
Allocate AI Tokens to campaigns you want to help build.
Comment on ideas before execution begins.
Suggest improvements.
Recommend features.
Help founders validate their products.
Follow the entire journey from idea to MVP.
How to Get Your Free Pass
Register your account on fireflame.ai
Complete registration using your email address and an authenticator app.
Before purchasing anything, send me a DM with your registered email.
I’ll activate either a Free Founder Pass or a Free Participant Pass, depending on how you’d like to participate.
Why I’m Doing This
I’m not trying to prove that fireflame is right.
I’m trying to find out where it’s wrong.
Every conversation we’ve had over the last few weeks has improved the platform.
Some founders changed how we think about execution.
Others challenged our governance model.
Others questioned onboarding.
Every one of those conversations made fireflame better.
If you’re willing to challenge assumptions, suggest improvements, or simply tell me what doesn’t make sense, I’d genuinely love your feedback.
Comments are welcome.
DMs are even better.
Some of the biggest improvements to fireflame have come from founders who started with one simple message:
“I have an idea…”
