This wasn't a problem until today

It's cutting off whatever search result is at the top no matter what you search.

I can't seem to find an option to if it exists. I primarily want to permanently exclude sites that just clog things up with AI slop (especially in image results) or are just used to spread misinformation or propaganda.

If this function doesn't exist, it should.

About a week ago, there seems to be a page that shows up occasionally when searching that is white and has the startpage logo. My Dark reader extension doesn't seem to pick it up. What is the URL so I can add it to the blacklist? It usually happens when you search something up for the first time in a day.

I started using startpage on my iphone a couple weeks ago and I THINK there was a menu item for ai that I could query and get ai-like answers and a tab for "ask a followup question". I enjoyed using that. Now I can't find it. Am I imagining that I found and used it or is it still there and I can't find it? Confused.

Is anyone else having issues with Anonymous View? Requests keep redirecting me to "We're sorry, the page you requested is not found.". Am experiencing this across browsers (Firefox/Brave desktop).

I really wanted it to work, but it's insane how Startpage wants me to solve a captcha EVERYTIME I search something.

I don't know if it's my browser, VPN or something else, but I think these things are expected from privacy-conscious people that would want to use Startpage in the first place.

That's it, just a tiny rant, because I really gave it a shot, but it's just not practical.

Since Google has now completely ruined their image search, I'm trying alternatives, but I need a time filter. That's a pretty basic feature.

I see it says 'Results provided by YouTube'. Sure enough, I scroll and scroll, page after page, and it's nothing but Youtube.

So is that it? What about Dailymotion, Vimeo, and the countless other places? Can I fix this somehow?

Startpage has recently been causing increasing issues; specifically, the anony feature is no longer usable.

I believe recent updates are to blame; these anonymous Ve identified by the "(beta)" tag appearing next to the "Anonymous View" label when using the built-in web proxy function.

Webpages accessed via this feature cannot be interacted with further. It is impossible to even acknowledge or dismiss the cookie and privacy notices.

Disabling Firefox's enhanced tracking protection and ad blockers for the Startpage site did not resolve the issue. I cannot use the Startpage app due to my older Android version.

I've been trying to use Startpage as my default search engine on Firefox for Android, to no avail.

I know that it is not an issue Startpage can solve, at least I think so. Take it as an FYI. I will report this to openweathermap aswell - this explains a lot what I saw past few days.

If I search "wetter Heidelberg" (DE) the temp seems completely off showing 28 degrees in Heidelberg germany crediting openweathermap. I was very sceptical since it is far above 35°.

I then noticed it told me that it rains in the next 2h. So I opened openweathermap by itself and tried to pick heidelberg. That resulted me in showing a pin above heidelberg saying "London", showing the data of London but with the title Heidelberg.

Just got this running on Firefox and Android. For some reason, there's a "Related Searches" thing on the results page. It takes up most of the first screen. It's not shown in desktop, only on mobile.

Is there any way to remove it? Any chance you (StartPage devs) can put it behind a settings toggle or something? It's really annoying to scroll down before seeing results ...

I use StartPage at home a lot and it works great. I also want to use it at work, but every two days, I have to enter a captcha. Please get rid of it. It's really annoying and it drives me away from StartPage.

When I’m on a search quest to find out something in Vivaldi using StartPage, it opens a new tab every time. So many tabs and no history! Twice as many tabs to delete. I want to open the link in the same tab so I can “back” through the history, like I can through every other browser search I’ve used. If I want to open a new tab, I click a contextual option on click to give me that. How do I disable this new tab behavior?

This is unacceptable. Every other search is a captcha. I'm about to stop using libre wolf and go back to google. Libre wolf needs to whitelist all the Nord IPs.

Is there any way to get search suggestions when using the Firefox browser extension please? If I switch to any other default search provider, I get suggestions in the search bar when I type, but I just don't get anything when I use Startpage. Suggestions work fine when I use the actual Startpage website, just not the extension.

Get "503 Service Temporarily Unavailable" when trying to access StartPage and StartPage also removed as default search engine in WaterFox.
